What a beautiful bakery. I'm not sure if they have in door seating but the patio was equipped witha bird feeder and a small garden. I don't know a nicer place to spend an early morning. I ordered a small smorgasbord of items that they use flour from the local mill and it was all delicious. The price was fair for fresh baked pastry. The staff are as sweet as their products.

Time to nitpick for for the foodies. The sorghum cookie was my favorite, but I would like to try one without the sugar on top. However it balanced the sorghum and ginger flavor really well. The scone was baked to perfection. Not too dry not too moist with a firm body. The dough is on the sweeter side. The blueberry muffin had lots of fresh blueberries and good top crust. I have to say it was a little too sweet for my pallet but perfectly baked.

Time to go in and...

Really cool place, friendly staff. I ordered the country ham and cheddar scone which was delicious! I also had the lemon bars, another great choice if you like sweets. My girlfriend had the veggie quiche and the onion walnut muffin of the day. The muffin was fantastic the onion gave it a lightly sweet flavor. 5/5 will be returning and bringing my family back here for sure. All their plates, cups, and utensils are compostable and recycling friendly which was a BIG plus for me and my girlfriend. Prices seemed very reasonable and on the cheap side in comparison to other small bakeries I've been to so if you want an affordable place to pick up some high quality baked goods I would definitely recommend this place, my girlfriend and I really enjoyed sitting and...

I worked with Midway Bakery to create custom breakfast boxes for a business retreat I was planning for a client.

From start to finish, Sandy, the manager, was incredible to work with. She went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. Her creativity, responsiveness, and passion for what she does truly set the tone for an outstanding experience.

Each breakfast box was beautifully curated and filled with unique, local pastries that our guests couldn’t stop talking about. The quality, presentation, and flavor were unmatched.

Midway Bakery delivered not just amazing food but genuine hospitality that I am so grateful to have received. Highly recommend working with Sandy and her amazing team for any event or...

Me and my friends stopped over here when we came to Midway on a Sunday afternoon for a quick coffee break. A nice cool cafe with wonderful fresh baked goodies - breads , cookies , scones , quiche, pies, cinnamon rolls as well as an assortment of coffees and teas . The staff was very patient , friendly and attentive. We had the savory scones with ham, cheese and chives ( yummy - a tad salty ) , ham and chives quiche ( exquisite- one of the best I have had, very fluffy and melt in your mouth ) , sorghum cookie ( delicious cookie with a kick of spice ). Also has local goodies like cake mixes , honey , coffee and even soaps on sale . So glad we stopped by here .. can’t wait to be back with my husband !!

This is the picture of the orders for 521 cookie bags from Midwa Bakey. Our local PTO reached out to them to see if they could help us with a Valentine fundraiser. Sandy was amazing to work with on this project. Always willing to help no matter how crazy the request was! She is the best! I think one of the reason our fundraiser was so successful was because everyone knew the quality and deliciousness of the cookies they would be receiving. And is was a great way for the school to support two local businesses...The Midway Bakery and Weisenberger Mill.

Pictures posted here do not do the delicious food justice. We stopped on the recommendation of a friend on the way through town. We tried: cinnamon rolls, ham and cheese scone, lemon bar, everything bagel, cheesecake brownie, sorghum cookie, and the corn cookie. Nothing wasn't good and most of it was great - especially the sorghum cookie and scone. The service was warm and the eating area adorable. There is a single batbroom available for customer use.
