So, the food is good, but the portions are very small. We ordered a few tacos apiece, thinking that would hold us. It did not. Honestly, when I opened the containers, I started to call them, prepared to drive back over to get the rest of our order. Then I realized that what we had must be what they considered a full order. Seriously tiny.

Pros- The tacos had good flavor. The corn shells were favored by the children but the adults preferred the flour. The meat was flavored well and the vegetables seemed fresh.

Cons- The tacos were maybe 3 inches across, then had to be folded. For almost $5 per taco, this was 2 bites, maybe 3 for a child. Certainly nothing close to worth that kind of money. Maybe the tacos could be a pre-appetizer, but not as a meal, unless you buy a lot of them or are a very dainty eater. I was frustrated at having paid that much to feed a family of 6, when I had to then dig another dinner out of the pantry and fridge to actually feed us.

Summary- Maybe we just didn't order the right things. The tastes were good and my main problem is the tiny portions. Maybe the other meals are of decent size but I'm not sure we...

This was really good! It was my first time in. I got the mahi, black beans and street corn-all tasty. The mahi was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. I tried a bit of the burrito sauce on my son's plate-which was really yummy, I can see why this was a repeat order for him. It was creamy and delicious. The salsa has a nice depth to it, love it when it's more spice than sweet. The art is great, it's a good vibe in the old building. I wish there were a couple smaller table options outside, as I prefer to eat outside and it seemed there were mostly or only tables for larger parties. They were very busy and handling it well, our server was great! In the end we were a little confused on the bill for a side charge compared to the menu, but they were super busy and it wasn't worth a fuss, this may be something to keep in mind when ordering though-to clarify number of included sides. It seemed clean and fairly priced for the portions, with seafood and a couple veggie or cheese options. I'd for sure go again and try...

Ignore the fake positive reviews. Don't make my mistake and be fooled!

Horrible food!! The rice was rock hard. I ordered beef fajitas medium rare and they were well done, and even worse the tiny razor thin strips of meat tasted rancid. I went here because my favorite restaurant next door Heirloom was closed. I will never make that mistake again. My favorite Mexican dish is chicken flautas and these were inedible and not even made with flour tortilla hence the name floutas.

Worst of all, when we complained, the owner/manager became extremely hostile and threatening in Spanglish. The owner needs to take an anger management course. Instead of rectifying the situation they blamed the customer for meat that smelled and tasted rancid. Ironically I had a similar experience at Gracias and then I found out the same owner owns both places!!! Which leads me to believe he is serving unsuspecting customers rancid food at all his...

First timer from out of town visiting my family. They had heard good reviews and recommended that we give it a try. We ordered guacamole and chips for an appetizer. The guac and salsa were very good. The chips are made to order but had a slight oily taste that I thought took away from the flavor. We had the chicken and beef fajitas combination platter for our entree. The seasoning they use was really flavorful and really stood out. Added a side of street corn. Definitely would recommend.

Second visit and its just a s good. Being from So Cal i am used to a certain style of food and while this place is different, its every bit as good. Food is very flavorful without being too spicy. Food is very very good. Far above any other "Mexican restaurant" ive been to since moving two years ago. Its a bit upscale mexican and im ok with that. Thanks Don Jockey for the great Food and atmosphere. . Margaritas are good too! Try the banana burrito!
