The staff is outstanding! The instructor for the spinning wheel pottery class did an excellent job at teaching us the initial steps. She made everything seem so easy. Also the pottery class for Moon phases was great! Our teacher did a wonderful job at explaining how to work with the materials. I absolutely love attending these classes and already signed up for the 4 week spinning class.

Myself, my teen son and his girlfriend had so much fun. We did the May 15th ceramic moon phase wall hanging class. I'm a beginner and felt this class was just right for me. I didn't feel overwhelmed with instructions and it was so easy. Anna was super patient and very helpful with instruction. I recommend Strange Earth Studio for intimate class with a few great friends. 5🌟

My wife and I took a stain glass class as a date night. Was a really fun activity. The owner explained things well and broke down the steps in an easy to follow way. Also, they had lots of fun crafty items to peruse and buy after we finished with our class. We had an awesome time. Classes are kept small, and you receive plenty of help and attention if you need it.

When I first went to Strange Earth I had zero experience with pottery. All I had were delusions of grandeur from watching The Great Pottery Throwdown. I took the 4 week beginner pottery course and absolutely fell in love. The instructor, Chelsea, was a great teacher. She explained everything clearly, never made me feel like I had a stupid question, and gave everyone in the class individualized tips based on how they were doing on the wheel. After this 4 week class I became addicted and tried a few of the one day hand building classes offered. This was completely different from the wheel, but was a really fun experience. Unlike other places, in the hand building classes the basic piece of pottery you build is explained, but they give you the freedom to modify the final look of the piece based off of your own artistic interpretation. These one day classes have become the replacement to a wine and palette night with friends. I can't recommend Strange Earth enough. If you want a fun girl's night out I highly recommend...

So the ceramic pumpkin class was a wonderful experience. We were told to come back and pick up our pumpkins in a few weeks. Once we got the email we drove over to pick them up two separate times at which Strange Earth was closed. The first time I talked it up to not looking to see what their hours were, but the second time they were supposed to be open. Today I made a phone call to check to see why the website said they weren’t open and was told that they had a Halloween event this week, when I inquired as to when I could pick up our pumpkins, I was told next week sometime next week would be AFTER Halloween and we wouldn’t need the pumpkins for display. The person’s response was, “oh sorry”. Sad to say I won’t be returning for any classes at...

Wonderful experience!! I took a one-day stained glass workshop and then came back to take the 4-week beginners class. Teachers for both were very knowledgeable and encouraging. For already established stained glass artists, they have a good selection of glass and other supplies in their shop. For anyone just wanting to stop by when they're open, they have cute handmade stained glass and pottery items for sale that would make great gifts. Worth the visit just to see Milkshake, their studio cat who is 10/10 cutest most...
