Normally, I'm a big fan of Little Caesar's Pizza. However, the Reno & S. Douglas Blvd, Midwest City branch, is one of the worst locations in town. I ordered two pepperoni pizzas. Normally, I request staff to allow me to view the pizzas first, to check the quality of the pizza. But, I didn't this time. I wasn't in the mood to deal with any negative attitudes today. Oftentimes, the staff is visibly annoyed when asked. Not checking this time was a mistake.
When I got home, I discovered I had been given two, dried out, cheese pizzas. The young woman at the drive thru window had just said they had just baked the pizzas. I had just explained to her that I had visited their location recently & there were fewer pepperonis than normal. I had been cheated out of meat. Because I live so far away, I just kept them. But, it wasn't a pleasurable eating experience. That being said, it's crazy that this time I didn't get any pepperonis at all. When I finally got home, I discovered both were cheese pizzas. Usually, I would get one pepperoni & one cheese. (I always order two pepperonis.) I was really angry to find they were both cheese. This after complaining about last Tuesday's botched order!
I drove all the way back to Midwest City to return both, untouched pizzas. Now, I'm going to show you why this isn't a petty complaint. It's bad enough I drove nearly 10 miles to buy the pizzas, I have a handicap tag. Only one customer was inside the lobby. I could see three employees near the front door. They saw me as well.
I am recovering from 6 surgeries. The last two were just last month! I had knee surgery. (I'm walking with a cane) & shoulder surgery. (My arm is in a sling). Imagine someone submerging from handicap parking, with a cane in one hand & their arm in Sling, while trying to carry two pizzas, a cane & a purse. They watched me struggle & only after three tries, trying to get the door open, did the young lady who sold me the wrong pizzas, come from behind the counter to open the door. By then, I already had the door partially opened. I was keeping it open with my foot. The employees that were right near the door, did not attempt to help me. They just stared at me as I struggled to enter the front lobby. And didn't speak once I entered.
I asked to speak to the manager. A young, white male, (wouldn't state his name) came from the back & went behind the counter. I was in a lot of pain, so while I waited on him, I needed to sit down. He made me walk back up to the counter. My condition didn't phase him. I had to go to him.
As he saw that I was returning two pizzas, all I could get out of my mouth was, "I ordered two pepperoni pizzas & received cheese pizzas." I was about to request my money back, but before I could, he walked away & returned to the back, while I was still talking. I asked another employee, "did he just walk away from me?" I had to ask the employee to call him back.
When he finally returned, I asked him why did he abruptly walk away from me like that? He replied, "oh, I thought you just wanted to swap out the pizzas, so I left. I replied, "if that was all there was to it, I wouldn't have requested to speak to a manager. There're other things you need to know about.
He then stared down at the floor the entire time I talked. He appeared to have an attitude, because I told him I wanted a refund, not just swap pizzas as he said he assumed. I said, "this is a chronic problem at this location, of being given the wrong pizzas, or poor quality ones. His body language clearly showed he didn't want to hear any of this. Another manager came on duty & had to help him figure out how to give my refund. Just then, two more different customers (not together), return cheese pizzas after ordering pepperoni pizzas.
He offered me Bread sticks for my troubles if I didn't get a refund & kept the pepperoni pizzas. I replied, "I don't like bread sticks." He walked away. At that time, another unsatisfied customer was walking out. She rolled her eyes back, having to return for her...
Read moreI went to the little Caesar’s on Reno and Douglas to order 2 pepperoni pizzas with the heart attack toppings and received my pizzas pretty quickly which was no problem to feed my 5 grandkids ages 1 to 15yrs for dinner after a very long day at work. The 1yr old met me at the door ready and waiting for his pizza but as I began serving the kids their pizza I began to realize there was no heart attack toppings on the pizza 1st strike, so that was the first disappointment with this business, so then after serving the kids the first pizza I decided to check the 2nd pizza to see if maybe they just made that mistake with the first pizza but to my surprise not only did they not add the heart attack (2nd strike) but the 2nd pizza wasn’t even sliced up just a whole round uncut pizza(3rd strike) Which I could’ve dealt with not getting the heart attack added, been there done that before, but for the last pizza to be uncut that was the icing on the cake so I called to file a complaint with the manager Carrie (not sure if I’m spelling her name correctly) but she said all she can do for me is remake the pizzas once I bring both pizzas back and this was after I explained that I had already served the cut pizza to my grandkids already so what pizza was I supposed to bring back ( was I supposed to take the pizza from the 1yr old and hope he understands? I was confused So I said it again, I had already served the cut pizza to the kids and all was left was the uncut pizza, so Carrie then says well that’s about all I can do for you once you bring the pizzas back (mind you she had told me in the beginning that SHE was in the back making the pizzas) so not only was she the one who messed up the order but she didn’t feel the need to make a mends for HER mistake like offering to replace the pizzas on another visit or give me my money back, I told her they already ate one and had to go to bed for school tomorrow so I can’t come back either, but she continued to be non chalant about the whole thing (and no before anyone claps back like I just wanted a free pizza no as I stated previously I’ve gotten pizzas with out the heart attack I ordered and didn’t complain at all, stuff happens, but the coldness of her response is what prompted me to write this review and seek to contact corporate because this was very terrible customer service and I tried to attach a photo but couldn’t figure out how to attach...
Read moreThey refused to make the pizza I ordered which was bacon wrapped deep dish half bacon and pineapple half cheese. So I had to change my order then when I get there the girl at the window tells me they messed up my order " cutting it wrong " I didn't care how it was cut or if it was cut at all after I already waited In line 15 min and I had a crying baby in car and a sick one at home so was just trying to hurry. So I would have to pull around and wait another 15-20 min. They weren't even going to offer any discount or anything until I asked what are you charging me for this pizza? They gave me $2 off I ordered a side of sauce and they charged me for that to finally she decides to throw in a free crazy bread which was a nice idea except it was very doughy under cooked I had to cook it more at home. Not something I really had time for this day. The pizzas were deep dish so the half that they didn't cut wrong they obviously left in a burner to wait for it's other half to remake because it ended up being black and hard around the edges. It wasn't my favorite order. I will say the girl at the window was a youngish girl that was very nice but obviously her bosses wouldn't allow her to be more helpful I could tell she did all she knew to do. She was great none of it was her fault I don't think. I have eaten little ceasars more than any other pizza in my life and I worked for little ceasars when I was 15 or 16 until I was 22 and worked for 4 different locations. I know how easy it is to be flexible when a mistake is made. They could have helped so much more. Thanks for a chance to share I just hope they work on customer...
