This dog park is clean & has different spaces for large & small dogs, as well as a little pool they can play in, if they like playing in water. I have a large dog who loves coming here to socialize & run. For the fur babies, there are several watering stations, a bridge, "hills" with tunnels for the dogs to run thru, & squirrels who like to tease the dogs. For the humans, there are benches & shady places in which to sit, There are also usually poo bags available (but I take my own, just in case they're out), & a hose for spraying the dirt & mud off your pooch before ya load em up to go home. The dog park is located at Joe B Barnes Regional Park, which features paved walking trails, playground equipment for your human babies, charcoal grills, picnic tables, covered picnic areas (available for rent for any occasion), a place to shaved ice (seasonal) & a creek in which you can fish, watch for turtles or just feed the ducks. Freckles LOVES playing here.

Fred Quinn Happy Tails Dog Park is three acre off-leash dog park located in Joe B. Barnes Regional Park in the heart of Midwest City, OK. The park features a nature-friendly design that is in keeping with the rest of the park. There are numerous large trees surrounding the area as well as covered entrances to provide plenty of shade. Features inside the park include a dry-bed creek with crossing bridges, large open areas of grass for running and playing, a water feature pond for swimming and cooling off, and chat transition from entrance to grassy areas.

We usually have a pretty good experience here so otherwise I would give it five stars, but today we did not. We own two young pitbulls, and they usually catch a lot of sideways looks and people being afraid because of the stigma of pitbulls. Ours however, are as sweet as can be. After being there for a few minutes, a lady's dog attacked one of my pitbulls, and blamed my wife and I for her dog's misbehavior. Fast forward a few minutes, and my other pitbull gets bitten, and my first pitbull jumps in to pull the other dog off of her. Again the other owners are blaming us, hitting at our dogs, and not doing anything to get their dogs apart. We had to leave after 15 minutes due to the other rude owners and their aggressive dogs. I hate to give this park a 1 star because usually we have no issues, but today was different. I would say still go here, just learn very quickly who The not so grest dog owners are, so you...

First of all the dog park was amazing unfortunately the dog owners were very rude. I have children and the kids and I we're at the small dog park when the large dog park gate was opened and a couple of dogs got out. Because I had a couple if smell children with me they we're automatically the ones who let the dogs out. For anyone that has not been here the gates are secured by a locking device that only adults or teenagers could open. A man was trying to get his dogs in the park and left the gate open as he chased his dogs. The people were cussing and yelling at my small children. They were scared and crying. We have a small puppy and they we're happy playing at the park it was so much fun. The other dog owners at the small dog park we're apologizing for the other peoples actions. Please remember that children are dog owners too and they have every right to be there as...
