Usually our favorite park but today this lady had her dog loose in the park area and her kids were rude to my 2 year old daughter. It made me really upset because for 1 your dog should not be in the park area for as huge as it was and for 2 if your kids are rude they really shouldn’t be in a public area where there are other kids around and you should be watching them and holding your dogs leash not your small child. Idc if you say the dog is nice it’s really not okay. Her friend had nasty dreaded hair and they just let the dog run around. I have been bring my daughter to this park for 3 year now’s and this was my first negative experience ever. The kids yelling at my daughter and the little girl telling my daughter she was bothering her and when I walked up to them she was not being nice to my daughter at all. Keep your kids at home or by yourself if they aren’t nice to other children especially little children… I get dog friendliness but not that huge and not just running around by itself in the park area with...
Read moreI loved this park when it was built. It has gone down hill over the years and isn't as maintained as it should be. It is fairly large, with a lot of different areas to play. There is a series of bridges and towers to roam, a swing set, several slides, and jungle gyms. There is a separate area for little kids to play with playhouses and a small castle that contains a throne for a king and queen. Lately, the wood seems less than cared for and they don't have enough wood chips. The water fountains don't usually work, neither do the water features or sprayers that the park used to have. And the bathrooms are nightmarish. They do sell snowcones in warmer weather and there are walking trails, pavilions, and picnic tables outside of the main playground. There are one or two smaller playgrounds along the walking trails. Overall, I like to take my kids here, but I wish it were...
Read moreThis is a pretty good sized park. It's a good place for kids to burn energy because the playset is big and requires climbing up stairs. There are also monkey bars, slides, tire swings, and a walking trail that goes around the park. If you have a toddler, there is an area for little ones. There is also a snowcone stand right next to it and volleyball nets with sand on the other side of the parking lot. There are real bathrooms, not port-a-potties, with water fountains. The park needs some maintenance as there is paint chipping and wood is broken, missing, or just getting old, but the park is still generally safe. Sometimes, there are weirdos there. I would stay away from the...
