Maine Outdoor School, L3C — Attraction in Milbridge

My daughter and I participated in a guided canoe trip with Hazel. She was fantastic! She was really great with my 6yo and was a great adult companion, as well. She is very knowledgeable and obviously loves what she does - we learned a lot and are excited to try another excursion with Maine Outdoor School! I am an outdoor person, who has a fair amount of experience, and I still had a great time - I would highly recommend if you're curious and excited about getting into the outdoors for the first time AND if you're an experienced outdoors enthusiast who is looking for a different, fun, and educational experience! Hazel from Maine Outdoor School was amazing as a guide for our family. We traveled from Michigan to Maine and in a Google search, I learned about the Maine Outdoor School. Communication beforehand was prompt and she designed a hike that was unique for my three kids (ages 5 - 16), my dad, my husband, and I. She was informative and very passionate about all of the flora and fauna we encountered. She was very patient & kind while my 5-year old asked millions of questions too. Joining OWL's Outing Group for Women was a truly unforgettable experience. I had never been canoeing before, and honestly, I might never have tried it if it weren't for this incredible group. The outing gave me the opportunity to step outside my comfort zone in a supportive, welcoming environment.
