Plains Mall — Attraction in Milford

The anchor at the Plains Mall is the Big Y grocery store. It’s a high end alternative to Stop & Shop and it succeeds as a formidable competitor to that chain. Also, the mall is home to Five Guys which is high end burgers and fries. If you’ve never tasted a Five Guys burger or their fries, check it out. It’s been voted best of Boston and Best Burger joint in the nation on more than one occasion. There a huge Liquor World and a smoke shop located here. The other end has an auto parts store but something is slightly lacking. It could be the vacancy in the center of the lot, maybe it’s the lack of EV chargers for electric vehicles. It needs just another something to bring it all together. Who would think that such high end service oriented brands like Big Y and Five Guys would be located in this neighborhood mall. It’s terrific, but something is missing. Maybe Oliva’s market needs to occupy the empty building where the old pharmacy was located. Something like that would pull this mall together. Meh. It is what it is. There used to be an Osco Drug, now (another) huge bank. Subway, Five Guys, a liquor store, smoke shop, nail shop, Big Y , Family Dollar. Also AutoZone and a can redemption place. A typical strip mall, a variety of shops. Plenty of parking. I believe everything is handicapped accessable. A public...
