I haven't been to the 99 since before covid. Years ago, I frequented the 99 after work and with my wife. The food was reasonably priced and good for the money. But, I noticed the quality was going down as prices went up. Well, I went today to see if anything had improved. I ordered steak tips. They're supposedly " flavored" with their special recipe. They have no flavor. The mashed potatoes seem like they're just scooped out of a large bucket and heated up, which, I think they are.The corn was definitely canned corn. The total was 23.00 for terrible steak tips. Now I know why I go to single owner or small owned locations. 99 Prime rib 16 Oz 36.00 ,with lame sides. My new place, I've been going to 16 Oz deliciously flavored prime rib ,with an actual fresh baked potato and a side. Plus, bread and either a side salad or soup. FOR 28.00! Way better food at a cheaper price. Maybe people find no problem with just a basic burger( which aren't cheap either). But, as for a real steak tip meal or prime rib, it's a no-go. Read moreUsually the Milford Ma 99 is amazing however today’s lunch was the worst meal my kids and I have ever had. I placed a takeout order around 2:00. The restaurant was very slow at this time, it was snowing so the weather might have had something to do with it. My son got steak tips and it was a very small portion. I’m figuring they gave him the lunch by mistake yet I was charged over $24. We all got a side of fries, none of which were edible. I got a grilled chicken wrap and the chicken had been grilled quite some time ago- it was hard. My other son got the country chicken which again just wasn’t very fresh. I realize we went at an off hour but that’s no reason for food not to be prepared fresh. Again the restaurant was dead. Over all disappointing to say the least for a $60 lunch!! I have stopped going to other locations because their quality isn’t what it use to be and I’m afraid this may be another one that just doesn’t seem to care what food they serve to their guests. Read moreI ate lunch at their outdoor seating with family. A long loose piece on the edge of the table might have cut someone if they weren't careful. I ordered a dish that came with guacamole. Because I'm allergic to it, I requested it in a separate dish for my daughter. When a server brought my dish, it came with a separate dish of guacamole plus a large scoop of it in the dish. The server brought it back to the kitchen. A few minutes later, the waitress brought out the dish "without" guacamole. She informed me that the server simply grabbed the wrong dish. I later discovered the kitchen staff just scooped out the guacamole from the original dish. When the manager called me to follow up on my complaint, he offered to send a gift card towards another dish. He took my address, then left a voicemail about a week later to follow up (lost my address?). I returned his call, giving my address to another manager to pass along. Update: No follow up.
