Escape Game Erie — Attraction in Millcreek Township

My family and I booked the axe murder room. My boyfriend and I love them, and we wanted to share that experience with my family as well! Since this one was local to our get together we were having, we thought it looked really fun and would be an amazing time. Once we got in there, everything was going well. We came up to the last part of the puzzle and were completely stumped. After we instructed the game master for a hint, she told us to rewatch all the tape. We spent the last 15 mins of our time staring at the tv like our lives depended on it. She kept saying, are you watching the entire tape? Why would we lie about not watching it? At the end, she came in when our time stopped and admitted that the group before us somehow messed up the tape so we were unable to finish successfully in time. Normally in any other escape room that I’ve been too, if there was an issue with a prop or a piece to the puzzle they said just to let them know and they can fix it. Which we did tell her multiple times that something was wrong, and she continued to say the same thing. If there’s an issue with the game, the game master should correct it. I would not recommend this place to any friends or family. Not worth spending your money on when the game is broke and the game master doesnt take initiative to fix...

1st you park behind old brick house and there is no light or anything pointing your way to enter (unsafe) the host was pleasant described things well. After in the game we were 40 minutes before we asked for help and then she described something we had already done and wasted our time, we then spent 10 minutes on one puzzle to find out the magnets were malfunctioning and she admitted they had been having a problem with that one. We then did not finish in time and she came in to walk us through it. Even while walking us through it there was 2 more times that the magnets did not work as they should. Then when we were getting ready to leave ,while using the bathroom, we could hear her getting frustrated with a group in another room, she was speaking to then through the speaker telling them they had not earned some items open yet and saying that they must of malfunctioned and to put the clues back. THEN 2x I heard her say GD!!! Not at all professional. Please work on these things to make a much better experience for your guests! The game was fun and challenging we had...

Let me start with the fact that my group is not from Erie what so ever. We had called last minute and they said they could take us at 9:10. We accidentally drove to the other location(which is our fault) but when we walked in we were told by the employee that they will let this location know we are on the way and there should be no problem to still get the game in. We drive 20 minutes to this location and arrive. There are 2 employees watching us walk to the wrong side of the building just staring at us. We went to 2 wrong doors and were just watched. We walk in and are told that they can not take us and they could not get ahold of the boss. This business had our phone and name and had 20 minutes to call us and say we would not make it in time. Being from a small town and clearly not knowing Erie traffic and roads in this place which they KNEW. We could’ve been called and notified we were not...
