So let me tell you a little story. We went here for an impromptu lunch. I had the reuben, My wife had the buffalo chicken salad. Both were wonderful and great portions. Price was super fair and the atmosphere was great.
We left satisfied, and fully ready for a four or five star review.
This is where the story takes a bit of a turn. While in the area, we decided to stop at Ollie's. Midway through the shopping experience, I felt a little rumbly in the tumbly. I politely asked for a restroom, none available for public use. I left my wife in line, to secure the usage of a neighboring business' facilities. About fifteen steps out, I felt a familiar feeling. Those with IBS or stomach problems, understand. I feared that I was losing the battle........ In the middle of a ninety two degree day, 1pm, I scurried to the first spot I saw. My sincere apologies to that car owner and the lot attendents. Looking back, it had to have been the thousand island, from my Rueben.
In closing, this is a wonderful spot.... But may I suggest ensuring all your condiments are fully refrigerated? When there is mayonnaise involved, no chances. It is the only thing that I had to eat, so process of elimination..... š 3/5 stars. Had I not deficated in Millcreeks parking lot, 4.5/5
Edit: came back the next day..... Pizzas...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was always our āgo toā place in Millcreek for reliable good food and good drink choices. Not sure if they got a new cook or management but it was way below their usual standards. We went on a Tuesday night around 5ish, didnāt have to wait, waitress was very nice but then the food came out. I ordered a salad with grilled chicken and the pub fries. The salad was different than their usual, the lettuce was a little old, not nearly as fresh as usual, it was full of purple cabbage which they never used to put on there (I am allergic to raw cabbage) I started to pick it out and noticed the lettuce was bad in parts, the chicken tasted old, definitely not fresh and the ranch dressing was bottled when it used to be fresh. The pub fries were just ok. Not great. Also, they had 3 tables crammed so tight together back to back that when they seated the next couple behind us, she couldnāt even pull out her chair. If you want to keep up your reputation, you have to do better than that. At least make fresh salads and go back to the homemade ranch. People go out to eat, not because they canāt cook, but because they want to treat themselves. So you have to serve them something better than what they...
Ā Ā Ā Read more430 reservation on a Friday evening. Waitress did not mention half of flatbreads and pizzas. My husband Caesar salad, which included salmon looked pretty bland like it was taken out of a can and flaked. Not a great serving for 1599. There was Romain and a few croutons on top and a little less cheese, which is his preference. My chicken pesto flatbread looked like the shape of an appetizer. At 12:99. Iām not sure what the happy hour discount is I thought it was half off half of 1299 would be 650. I was charged 799 very little chicken very little flatbreadmore cheese than anything and not very noticeable was the pesto.
Our waitress needs a little more training. Size? Another table asked that the toppings on their pizza nut slide off when picked up, brought back to the kitchen resolved. Table of three who came in after table 4, got their food first. The table of four had an item missing and had to ask the waitress for it. This is not the public house nor the flatbread that I remember. I shouldāve ordered two, but I wonder what the price wouldāve been??? Can get a better flatbread and a better salmon salad elsewhere! Unsure as to whether we will return...
