Milpitas Skatepark — Attraction in Milpitas

At first I thought it was kinda meh, and not that much for the amount tax funds the city spent on it. Then I took my nephew on a trip to visit a bunch of other South Bay Area skateparks, this one conveniently located at our local neighborhood park is light years ahead of the competition. My only complaint now, given how much the city spent on it, they didn't use Milpitas Concrete for the project. A company that help founded this city. Fun park! While I often hear people complain about certain aspects of this park, they still conclude that even with less-than-desirable aspects (ie the center intersection connecting too many parts of the park into one crowded center), Milpitas park is one of the best in the bay!

If it's your first time visiting Milpitas park, my recommendation is to find a time (early morning, weekday noon) when the park isn't packed—the pavement is unbelievably smooth, the obstacles and coping are immaculate, and there's a LITTLE BIT of something...

It's a technical park. IMO not smooth lol the ride not the surface that's slick. Not a good roll in park. Cool locals fo sho. Tons of parking that's covered by solar panels so that's def a big plus, I have no idea where there is bathrooms are the locals point ya to the dumpster across the parking lot which I'm fine with but if ur uncomfortable peeing behind a dumpster in a parking lot take note make plans.
