Tandoori Pizza - Milpitas — Restaurant in Milpitas

We ordered three pizzas for the office, one of which was supposed to be halal. Unfortunately, the entire order was mishandled. Two of the pizzas were missing all produce, which made it impossible to tell them apart. The one that was meant to be halal came with ham on it.

When I called the restaurant to clarify, the staff member told me "everything is halal" and insisted the ham was halal as well. When I asked what kind of meat it actually was, he couldn't answer. There is no ham listed on the ingredients of the combo halal pizza, so this was very concerning.

This mistake led to two people in our office who only eat halal unknowingly consuming ham. Beyond being careless, it shows a lack of understanding about what halal really means. I honestly think the person I spoke to might be vegetarian and completely out of his element when it comes to handling meat and halal standards.

We initially chose Tandoori Garden for our son's birthday party because we really enjoyed their pizza when we first tried. We placed a large order and were assured that everything would be delivered on time. My husband even called to confirm twice to make sure the delivery would be prompt.

Unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. The order was delivered 1 hr late, and to make things worse, it was first sent to the wrong address. To top it off, the promised plates and napkins were missing. Our guests were hungry, so we had to quickly order some salad, appetizers and drinks from another place and scramble for supplies to keep everyone occupied while we waited. When the pizzas finally arrived, our guests had already eaten salad and appetizers, and as a result, about 80% of the food was left over.
