Hang It Inc. — Attraction in Minneapolis

I had worked with Hang It over the years when I had an active design business. Their service for the current event was as dependable as that in prior years. Stephanie made what was a complicated project easy, straightforward, most pleasant, and issue/problem free! Her note-taking and record-keeping were impeccable, and more complete than I'm sure most any other framer could or would have presented. And, to top it all, she has an installer who put frosting on the already-frosted cake. Vern flawlessly picked up, transported, and installed all of the framed artwork for this particular occasion. It was the first installation in which I've ever been involved (that's 45 yrs. in the business) that I didn't feel I needed to be in charge of positioning the art and directing the 'hanging.' He took over, cheerfully and confidently, and I could never had accomplished the project as beautifully as he did. And he was still smiling and unperturbed at the conclusion. Kudos to all at Hang It! We came in with a desire to frame a piece with something over the top. The gaudy-er the better. Silly? Yes! But they were able to hear us out on our vision for the piece and the room it was going into. They nailed it and we love the work! I thought I'd write a review because we were the difficult customer looking for something outlandish, but we still wanted it to look good. Kind of a mission impossible. And they pulled it off.

This is the second time I've been here, a total of 4 pieces. Different staff each time, but great artists who could help me get to what it was that I really wanted. Both were calm, clear, and patient people....

I made a few impulse buys on some artwork while I was in Luang Prabang. When I came back I was looking to just get these pieces framed so I can preserve the artwork, so nothing special. My first instinct was to go to Michael's to get the job done - big mistake. Let's just say that all 4 pieces would have cost way more than my international flight ticket. I did some research and tried these folks out. They were willing to work with my budget and my timeline, which I was super impressed with. I am really happy with the final product and will continue to get my purchased artwork framed here when I get back...
