Alyssa is hands down the BEST hairstylist I have ever been to. I struggled for YEARS finding a stylist who would actually listen to me, give me exactly what I want, but also put their expertise into every single thing. I went to Alyssa in desperate need of a haircut and color. My hair had NO shape and the color was horrible. After Alyssa looked at my skin tone, face shape, listened to everything I wanted (and complaints of what I didn’t want) I could have cried from pure happiness at what she did with my hair. I have never in my life truly left a hair appointment with not a single complaint before Alyssa. I cannot say enough good things. I also don’t know another hairstylist who responds as quickly and is willing to work with you in every aspect from making an appointment work, to checking in to make sure you’re still happy with the work she did. I used to rarely get my hair done (and it showed). But I started going to Alyssa a few years ago, and my personal aesthetic has definitely leveled up. She takes my personal preferences into account, including not wanting to ever do too much to style my hair (the picture I included is what it looks like with no product when I let it air dry), and she makes sure my hair always looks good down or in any of the up-dos I like.
