This park is a favorite of mine. You can take a nice, slow drive thru or you can stop and picnic. On weekends in the summer, you can catch a concert at the band shell. There's a small water park for the kids too. Nice place for group events at one of about three shelters with electricity. During the Christmas season, there is also a light show with a small charge. I don't care for the domestic geese. Gross!!

Great park. Lots of space to run around. Playground equipment is amazing. Great for all ages and abilities. Nature so close. We saw 5 deer in the stream area. Lots of picnic tables. Water pad is perfect. Clean bathrooms. We had a wonderful time and have come back many times.

This place was really awesome to see all the lights during the winter. There was a lot more than what I posted on Google. Summer time, this place becomes a geese's retreat. Always great as a hangout spot and has a water park when it's not too cold. Will definitely go again.

Oak park playground is nice for little ones. There are different sections for younger age group. The splash pad is great as well. It’s not the biggest park but the bathrooms are fair for a park and generally acceptable.

The bbq grills are there in the open areas. During the summer it gets really hot but greenery around the park is absolutely beautiful. Everyone should take advantage of the sun and check out this park.

I used the pavilions too with work function and enjoyed it as well. They are good size for parties.

I’ve been to oak park at different times during the weekend and haven’t been overly crowded...

Nice place to spend an hour or two walking or relaxing. They have quite a few picnic areas, a huge playground, a nice shaded asphalt trail through the trees where you really feel you are away from it all (with a camping area toward one end). When we went (September) there was a farmer's market. There were ducks and geese in the water. The place was clean; no garbage around - plenty of places to throw trash. If you just need a nice break in the day...
