I stop here frequently for lunch. They need to add some roughage to their lunch deli. If they have some it’s usually some musty canned sliced carrots, never any corn, green beans, broccoli or any good veggies. Deli fried chicken is bomb af but I don’t know how they make their mashed potatoes and gravy. The potatoes are the consistency of baby food mixed with corn meal and the gravy tastes like it has a hint of black licorice in it. Edible but just curious how you take the 2 easiest foods to make and end up with what’s in the pan there. Their Mac and cheese is good but a guy shouldn’t stack that many carbs in 1 meal. You get 2 sides and they’re all starch’s and never any Potato-wedges. Store is always clean and neat and the staff is usually pretty attentive. Read moreI've always like this place because it's a chill place with old school feel. Its cute with its own items, not all market places are the same. That's a cool thing. In this location it's central for social gathering, yummies plus their produce sweet and fresh.
Most of the times going there, it's very chill. It's a gem that's needing to be preserved. Historical landmark in the making.
