Bendix Park — Attraction in Mishawaka

If you want a nice park to take your kids to, this isn't it. You need a spot to come hang for a few, meet the dope man, whatever shit you're into, this is it. It's a shame. At least in the late afternoon and early evenings. The playground equipment is new and nice. Basketball hoops, and they do have horseshoes available. During the day, a nice group of older gentlemen play weekly. I'm not sure how the fishing is anymore in the back. We used to fish back there with my father and grandpa when I was a kid. I barely recognize...

The park itself could use a spring spruce up, but is otherwise nice. This park is at the edge of residential streets but near industry, which is an odd setting. I'm looking forward to taking my grandson fishing on the pond. It has reportedly been stocked and other than the St. Joe River, is the only fishing hole...

Nice little park. Seems kinda private, and off the beaten path. This is definitely a family friendly park. There's a playground and I think I saw Horseshoe pits too.!! Plenty of grass for dogs and their owners to play. Never knew it was here. I found it while roaming around looking for yard sales....
