my little niece has been really excited about the king fu panda collab from here, it’s one of her favorite movies and so i promised her i’d pick her up a meal for when she got out of school so she could get her toy she’s been wanting, i go today and i notice it’s not in the bag as i drive off, i come back and was met with absolute disrespect, they hid in the back from me and i had to shout hello for them to come up to the register while there was nobody else in the drive thru and only one couple in the dining room. They tell me it’s not their problem the store doesn’t have toys, i’ve worked fast food, it’s up to the MANAGER to keep up with inventory and make sure they don’t run out of things which this store is clearly not doing, the most frustrating part they wouldn’t even offer me a damn crown that were littered all over the store. Y’all are some horrible human beings, just remember you’re screwing over people who have just as much as you do which is not a lot in today’s economic climate. I wasn’t asking for much, just something to show up with for my niece. psa, if you have a kid who’s really looking forward to getting their toy from here make sure you call first so you don’t disappoint them because this store doesn’t care and falsely advertises which is predatory and sickening, what can i expect from a big corporation...
Read moreThis Burger King location is in a convenient location, and the food was great. I enjoyed the service and I would not personally complain about it. However I will say that there is a way that local Hoosiers talk that is no-nonsense and if you didn't grow up here, you might find it rude. For example, I came through recently and my husband's car is loud. The woman taking orders in the drive-thru basically told him that his car was too loud and he was gonna have to yell because she just couldn't hear him. And she didn't say it in that cheerful, fakey voice that is prevalent in customer service. She used her, "look here, cousin" voice. I don't find that rude, I find it honest. (And as a former fast food worker, I KNOW it's honest - sometimes we can't hear over those loud cars!)
Plus it's one of those things that reinforces the feeling that we live in a tight-knit community. What I'm saying is, if you come here, and the food is good, and the service is quick, but someone was blunt with you - try not to be upset. It is most likely because they see you as a part of the local community, instead of as a stranger they have to...
Read moreThe worst of the worst of all Burger Kings. The slowest. The lousiest food. It shows to, you can go here during dinner time or lunch time and see lines wrapped around the other fast food places next door, and nearly empty parking lots and drive thrus here. If that doesn't say something about a place, what does?
I'm not against Burger King in general mind you. This location though... has been lacking for at least 20 years, possibly 30.
I am sure there are times, they get new managers, new staff, and the place rocks for a little while! However, I don't think they can ever keep it up, or get the business they need to do so, because it has to often been one of the worst fast food choices in this area, and I have spoken to a lot of people that absolutely will not go there, but are fine with going to other Burger Kings.
I would really like to see this place close down, so that a better restaurant can move in and give us locals a decent alternative option. I am guessing it must have something to do with the tax write off, or land deals, because I have a hard time imagining this place being profitable from just...
