I really enjoy walking around Mary Gibbard Park it’s so quiet, clean and simply beautiful. I go to the riverwalk a lot but one day I was visiting my sister and stumbled upon this park and I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of it. It’s nice to stop and enjoy the little things in life, with the Covid19 I’ve learned to enjoy the small things in life because we never know when our times up. I did notice that they have people who clean up around the park and I’ve seen the residents that live around or nearby cleaning the park up too.

My kids and I love this park! It's got so much to offer, from a pavilion and bathroom facilities (not open in the winter though!) to playground equipment for both young and older kids. It also has an excellent splash pad (complete with a dumping bucket!) and even dirt hills behind for some rugged biking in the warmer weather and sledding in the winter! Added bonus: there's a little library too, where you can exchange books (though I think it's been emptied during COVID to alleviate spreading of germs).

Great park with lots of activities for the kids! Large playground equipment area, nice splash pad section that rivals many others, not to mention a good bathroom nearby and an emergency beacon if needed. There is also a pavilion with picnic tables and charcoal grill. The only thing to watch out for is the feces left by geese and ducks from the area which may need more frequent cleanup. We will definitely be back!

We had never been here before, but found it by searching for ā€œbike parks.ā€ The main part with the playground, pavilion and water features for the kids looks really nice, but we didn’t use those features on our visit. The bike section is for the advanced rider who has a high level of fitness and/or youthful energy. It has lots of high jumps, hill climbing and switchbacks. The track itself is poorly maintained at the moment. There are lots of ruts, weeds and bits of trash all over. The layout needs a redesign to offer features that riders of all skill levels could enjoy. Four stars for the rest of the park. Minus one star for...

This park is really a beautiful park. I did not get to enjoy all of the things this park had to offer on my first visit, but I will definitely come back to enjoy it. The reason for 4 of 5 stars is the terrain of the playground surrounding the splash pad. After being in the water, then stepping onto the sharp mulch and hurting my feet. I tried to step onto the rubbery surface, which was really hot from the sun. šŸ˜… I am not knowledgeable in playground surface so I have no better suggestions, but ouch. I loved this park that was just the only thing that wasn't good. The splash pad water bucket was a really...
