Painting with a Twist — Attraction in Missoula

I have done this four times in four different states. It’s a great activity to do when visiting with friends. I found this location to be the worst experience I have had. It started with an instructor with zero enthusiasm for her job. All attendees are there, giggling and laughing and excited to start. S introduces herself with no smile or joy, and the evening went down from there. Her instruction was limited. She went very fast, and everyone felt behind. People were always confused and asking for clarification. The small-talk that I overhead during the class confirmed that many felt this way. One person said she cared more about her own painting than helping us with ours. It was a confusing and irritating evening, because PWAT can and does do better. Maybe it was a new instructor? Maybe it was a new painting that she didn’t know how to teach yet? Regardless, this was a waste and I’m disappointed that PWAT seems to have lowered...

If you want to do a neon black light painting, please CALL first. I booked a neon black light painting specifically because I have been to one in a different state and it was my favorite! However, whenever we arrived we were told it was not a black light painting and she didn’t know why it would say that. She did end up giving us some black light paint to take home because the session was running quite over the 2 hours, but that was not the experience I wanted, and I was left dissatisfied and disappointed. The whole reason I booked that specific painting was because it was painting in black light with the neon paint. I would’ve chosen a different painting if I had known. Would give it a 5 but the most recent experience was kinda crap. Instructor was clearly on auto pilot and did not walk around to check on students or ask if actions needed any help. She gave directions and went to her phone and snacks. Have been here two other times and had great and very educational and interactive experiences. Felt like instructor just was burnt out. Very disappointed this time around. Still will return as this one experience does not overshadow the other two 5 star experiences.
