Update (7/2024): wow, this place went downhill and seems to be in the throes of an identity crisis. Claims to be a Vietnamese restaurant but no one speaks any Vietnamese, even for items written in Vietnamese in the menu. Goi cuon were mostly lettuce and seemed to have been made much earlier (not fresh). My pho ca ri ga was gross - broth was flavorless and the chicken tasted old (I get it's marinated, but it tasted as if it'd been left far too long). I didn't eat it because I was concerned about food poisoning. While I was eating though, the server brought the check and made some comment about "no rush". Seriously?! I stopped eating and he took the check away. It's worth noting the restaurant was almost entirely empty. This place needs to figure out what they are and then focus on doing whatever that is well. Was excited to come back to this place after my first visit, but as of now, I won't be back and definitely can't recommend.
Original review: Glad to have given this place a try! Their Cà Ri Gà was amazing! Lots of flavor in the broth, with large pieces of potato and chicken. Goi cuon were also delicious and generously portioned. The restaurant also has a small grocery store attached (nice for treats and getting beverages to go). Staff was friendly and courteous....
Read moreI ordered the large #19 pho noodle bo l. It would be delicious if I didn't have a father born in Vietnam. The ingredients were good quality, but very few. There was no mint/basil/saw tooth greens; only cilantro and bean sprouts, a quarter of one wedge of lemon (typically lime would be served), and one slice of jalapeno. The beef brisket and flank were tasty but also few, sliced very small, as well as the meat balls.
The interior was very simple. I like it because it is usually a good sign of authentic oriental food. It was also quite clean. The service was on point; my server, and other server I over heard, were kind and attentive. Checking often but not too much.
This restaurant has a lot of potential, but they need more effort in their soup!! I moved to a very small town with the closest city being an hour away, so I get pho every chance I get to come to the city.
Overall, the experience was comfy and satisfying enough to make it the next several months...
Read moreI'm from Florida and I never thought it would be soooo hard to find a good asain restaurant here in Missoula, you can find them every 6 blocks where I'm from and they're really good. Here in Missoula there is only ONE TRUE place and thats at Vietnam Noodle. Really clean flavors, the soup is a hangover cure for people I've gotten it for that reason. It is so good, just perfect and after spending years going to different China towns around this country, this is the best soup it is amazing. There is a small shopping area that is WELL WORTH THE VISIT, and really well priced. Well below the other place to buy asain supplies. Great staff, really friendly, even though they think that I sound funny hahaha, its Southern what...
