As an Asian American who grew up in a large metropolis, I didn’t realize how much I’d miss boba tea till I moved to rural Montana. While there may be a couple other places in Missoula to find boba, this gem of a shop has seriously been the best, and it’s existence (plus the fact that they have vegan options) has made my heart warm and fuzzy—ever since I found out about PBT this past month, we’ve made sure to stop by the last 3 times we’ve come to town. I can’t help myself from getting taro all the time, it’s a classic and delicious flavor that PBT does very well.
Also: I’ve never raved about the actual boba tapioca balls before till now. They are SO GOOD. Not undercooked, perfectly soft and chewy, and with a hint of sweetness.

Either it’s lacking flavor, too much syrup, or chunks of taro powder in my tea (all on different occasions) it’s never REALLY good. I’m excited for the Thirst Tea boba truck to come back next week, and I’m saving my money and my...
Read moreBest bubble tea in Missoula. Great ambiance and tea. The most interesting set of days and hours of operation at this time. But can only assume that will expand as time goes by. May be a little difficult for new people looking for it. Boba is a little undercooked and could be boiled off for another minute longer. A trash bin by the exit would be a nice addition. It just recently opened so it will probably get better as time goes by. Nice variety of teas and would...
