If you're looking for an adrenaline-pumping adventure combined with breathtaking views, look no further than Raven’s Rim Adventure Tours in Moab, Utah. My recent ziplining experience with them exceeded all expectations and left me buzzing with excitement.
Location and Scenery: Nestled in the stunning red rock landscapes of Moab, the scenery is simply unforgettable. As you ascend to the ziplining launch site, the panoramic views of the canyons and vistas are nothing short of spectacular. The contrast of the vibrant red rock against the deep blue skies sets the perfect backdrop for an adventure like this.
Safety and Equipment: Safety is clearly a top priority at Raven’s Rim. The gear provided was in excellent condition, and the safety briefing was thorough, ensuring that all participants felt comfortable. The guides, who are not only experienced but also incredibly knowledgeable about the area’s geology and history, made safety a fun part of the experience rather than a chore.
The Ziplining Experience: The zipline course itself is amazing! With several lines of varying lengths, you'll feel the rush of gliding over the canyon, suspended in the air with nothing but stunning views all around you. The highlight for me was the longest line, which offers a heart-pounding drop and an exhilarating feeling of flight. The sensation of rushing through the air amidst the breathtaking scenery is indescribable.
Guides: Shout out to our guides, who were both friendly and engaging. They shared fascinating stories about the area and ensured that everyone felt included and confident as they zipped through the air. Their enthusiasm was infectious, making the experience not just about the ziplining but about learning and enjoyment as a whole.
Conclusion: Raven’s Rim Adventure Tours has created an unforgettable experience that is a must-do for anyone visiting Moab. Whether you're an experienced thrill-seeker or a first-timer, the combination of safety, stunning views, and fun makes it worth every penny. I left feeling exhilarated and hoping to come back for more. Don't miss this incredible adventure on your next...
Read moreIf I could give Raven's Rim Zipline more stars I would! When my boyfriend and I first arrived we were kindly greeted by Tera. She gave us our safety waivers and had us read them before signing. We got to meet the guides taking us out right after, Stephanie and Andrew. They asked us questions about ourselves which I thought was very nice. It was more like having friends who are guides more than just having some strangers show us the tour. We had another couple come who were also very nice. Just a small group of 4 zipliners and 2 guides. As we got ready, I was feeling uncomfortable putting on my gear and I didn't even have to ask for help! They could totally tell that I was worried and they immediately checked it for me. We drove up kind of in the canyon and just had to hike a little bit to each zipline, not as strenuous as my boyfriend and I thought. We got to go at our own speed and got lots of beautiful pictures of the area. The couple that came with and the guides took pictures of us for us so we didn't just have a bunch of selfies. It was pretty windy up there but Stephanie and Andrew made my boyfriend and I feel extremely safe. We got to go on the 6 pm tour so we got to see the beautiful Moab sunset as we came back. It was a fun exercise, breathtaking, exilerating, and also very romantic at times and it was one of the best experiences I've had in my life. I am going to recommend this tour to everyone and I will definitely look forward to going on it again sometime. Thank...
Read moreZiplining at Raven's Rim is a class act in every way. The adventure lasts two-and-a-half hours and is adrenaline-packed enough for the world traveler or first-timer. The confidence and competence of the guides comfortably and safely leads everyone on the trip to a primo experience for all. If you can, go on the first trip of the day to be cooler. In mid-September, it was still in the 80s--a t-shirt and long shorts or capris are best. (The extensive climbing harness would NOT be comfortable in short shorts!) Bring water, wear sunscreen, and definitely wear sticky good climbing shoes (not specialized, just good hiking sneakers like Merrills or Keens) for the sheer rock faces you'll be climbing on foot. Tip them well!! We gave each of the two--Matthew and Tony--$20 each; they were HIGHLY trained off-road drivers to get us up and over the giant rock hill (a 6.5 out of 10 rating for the switchbacks); they were sticklers about safety everywhere; they demonstrated each of the SIX zips; they told terrible punny jokes; they cheerfully took our photos on a big panoramic overlook... And when we got back, there were lavender-scented washcloths and popsicles waiting. It was worth...
