Everybody knows I LOVE ALDIS. The produce, the prices, and the staff. Great place in general. I'm starting to frequent this location more since I moved into the area. Today I encountered an employee who was absolutely rude. As I approached the area, he was upset because the customers before me took the basket, understandable. I didn't have a basket, I had an AlDI'S bag because I only had 6 items. I placed it on the conveyor briefly to get my phone ready, and before I could get it he quickly pushed the bag back towards me saying, "Take the stuff out". No problem. After I emptied it, I put the bag in the cart so that he could toss everything in there and I wouldn't have to waste our time trying to clear the items out of the cart before the next customer. He sees the bag, and proceeds to throw the items in the cart directly on side of the bag. I tell him, "You could've placed them in the bag". He ignores me, throws (literally ) my bread in the front part of the basket, and I rush to pay before collecting the rest of my items. As I'm gathering my things, the next customer has the same amount of things as I do, with his own reusable bag as well. He rings them up and leaves them on the counter for customer to put in his bag. I hate to pull the race card. But if you have an attitude and you're having a bad day, we all get the same treatment. The cashier was a white male late 30's to mid 40's, earring, and tattoos. The difference between the other customer and I is that I'm black and the customer after me was a white male. All of that effort to show disdain instead of customer service, when you could've done the same thing for both of us is wild. Or at least shown the same amount of consideration. You missed the mark today sir, I pray you do better, and treat your future customers with respect regardless of who they are or what kind of day...

Read morethis is seriously what replaced winn dixie?? everytime i go here i think “i should’ve gone to a real grocery store” lines long due to too few employees and the selection of goods is far far less than the large diversified US-South-infused winn dixie selection. the produce at aldi is in poor quality. you’d have better luck shopping for groceries at a Dollar General. Lots of preservatives...
