I took my almost 2-year old there today, and it was BUSY!!! I wasn’t surprised, as it’s the week between Christmas and New Year’s. My mom got us reservations, which was good because it was sold out for the day. My little guy LOVED the Water Lab, and being able to throw the Lego and balls into the vortex or launch them. I didn’t put an apron on him, but I should have because he was SOAKED! I had extra clothes, and when he was done in there I changed him in a very clean family restroom. My 3 nieces seemed to enjoy themselves, as well. The 8-year old enjoyed performing on the stage, the 10-year old liked the shopping area, and the 12-year old was all over the place. The toddler area was overrun by adults sitting around (with no kids in there to watch), but my little guy didn’t care and I was too busy following him around to let it bother me. I will happily go back so he can explore again, or send him with grandparents while I’m at work so they can hopefully deal with less people.

Great facility for kids. I took my 7 year old daughter and she had a great time. I feel that many of their stations are for younger kids as they are able to be more engaged in the exploration of activities. Definitely have a variety of stations(some better then others) but overall a fun experience. Little pricey for admission but there are discounts for guests that have ebt. I didn’t feel as it was a museum but more of a play center. They had staff at a few stations that could help do the activity and explain what the point was, but some activities gave no direction on “how to” so it was a loss on the task. Great friendly staff and cute little gift shop too. My daughters favorite activity was the store and kitchen for make believe and the stage, being able to have kids use their imagination is wonderful. If they had story times or interacted stories with kids dressing up, it would help the experience!

There are so many ways kids can learn while having a blast here. There are different areas of the museum that each have a creative and fun activity that appeals to kids of all ages, from the simple habits of honey bees all the way up to advanced robotics. I noticed the place was impossibly clean considering the age group of its regular customers, and there were many knowledgeable and attentive staff around that always had an answer. Throw in a safe, giant, and climbable net structure with a slide at the top and no kid will want to leave before their guardian.

We went at 12 and there was a sign that said sold out but I called and they let me know they allow walk-ins once more people leave. I waited about 30 mins then was able to enter. So many fun things to do. Saw some older kids having fun and of course the little ones do too. I suggest taking extra clothes because the water station will get them wet. The staff and crew are very friendly. I was also able to feed my baby in a separate comfortable quiet room. Will definitely be back. Give it a try.

The kids really love this place. There are several unique activities and gadgets to enjoy and learn from. but once you've visited once, there's no real excitement to go again,.. they need to add a little bit more entertainment and surprises. Also I think it would make more sense and be more fair if parents paid a little less than the child. There's not much for parents to do but supervise and watch their child have fun. Maybe a family bundle deal? Or 2 parent deal? Just a suggestion.

Pretty great spot for the kids if you live around here in Modesto. Price isn’t even that bad even on the weekends. When we walked up there was a sign outside saying it was sold out but we were still accommodated thanks to Katie at the front desk (who was also super friendly to everyone). Its kinds wierd that I used to get hammered here when it was a bar long ago so double points for nostalgia reasons as an adult lol, definitely comjng back again
