We were lucky enough to be able to see this amazing place on a December night with a choir singing for an event. The library can fit two houses with beautiful paintings and figurines all over. It was such a beautiful night. :)

beautiful "overlook" home that rests on a piece of land that has views of Rock Island and Moline. The exterior and the landscape were the highlights of this property for my visit. The landscape is designed like you are entering the greens of a well taken care of golf course. A wonderful historic home here in the Q.C. Tours are available, and the volunteer staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

The homes them selves are stunningly beautiful. and take you back to a time when grand works of art and culture were built to be a family legacy.

The yearly Victorian Christmas open house is not to be missed, with live music and refreshments, activities for the children. It's a wonderfully day for the...

Always a joy to visit historical Butterworth Center, a gift to the community by the Butterworth family. Non-profit groups can use the facility for free.
