US Nails & Spa — Attraction in Monona

I'd called to make an account for the same day, Monday since I'm going to a funeral on Thursday The receptionist told me they can take me the next in the afternoon. When I got to my appointment and I was told that they are busy and to come back later in the week. Further into our current. the owner told me she wasn't taking me because of being scared of me andIwas too demanding. I am close to 60 years old and just now finding a voice to express how I feel instead of taking how people treat me. I'd thought that a nail salon would want a customer to say "yes, please shape my nails this way" but I guess I was wrong. I'd NEVER raised my voice or EVER threatened anyone there because I was raised to treat others the way I want to be treated. For the few times I had my nails done here Iwas SO gray that I would always given a $10 - $20 dollar tip. I just don't understand why the owner doesn't like me and had actually asked me to leave when I mentioned how I try to treat others like Jesus would want me to. I do wish her nothing but love and blessings. Maybe she can someday look past seeing people on how they look and into how they are trying to show love and respect for all people. She may be a wonderful person, just like me and maybe we have more in common than us both being minorities. I wish I was given the chance to find out. I really enjoyed the friendly staff and customers but the owner doesn't like me for whatever reason. I hope others will have better luck than I because they do EXCELLENT work on French tip nails and they are worth every penny.

It was our first time going. We called days before and got an appointment to get nails done for prom. Got there and they were jam packed busy. They were very unorganized and were rushing to assist with customers coming in. They rushed through with our nails with the extension along with the acrylic dip nail powder. They switched nail techs in the middle of doing our nails, got the nail shape we wanted wrong, the nail bed was bumpy after they applied the dip powder, and the french tips didn't even go along the top of nails correctly! The nail tech did such a horrible job that she put glitter nail polish on the tips to cover her mess when that's not what we asked for! We just wanted simple black french tips! They took in more than they could handle that day. Fortunately, we went back later on the same day and told them how unsatisfied we were and got the nails removed along with a refund. I would not recommend this...

I really don't think there's a concise way to explain what a fantastic experience this salon is. I don't think you can even recognize the salon now that an incredibly competent owner took over. Miwa is the epitome of a hardworking and caring owner. She has a sincere passion for what she does and it's evident in every minute detail of her salon. From the attention she shows to detail when working on your nails, to the way she seems to be aware of everything going on in her salon, she sets an entirely new standard for the industry. I am glad I went to this salon; they made a lifetime customer out of me!
