Brought my 4 year old niece to Rosy Cheeks to find her first pair of tap shoes. It was our first time there. We had arrived at the same time as another a family. The one employee there at the time Rhea did an amazing job greeting both girls looking for shoes. Took them to the back together and made each of them feel super special. They were both super excited to tell Rhea about their upcoming dance classes and she was just as excited to hear about it. Once she got the girls their shoes she took the time to fit test them separately . We decided to walk around a moment to check out all the other great stuff they had. I have to say I was super impressed by the selection of leotards they had. So many colors and designs. Next it was my niece's turn and once Rhea got the shoes on they walk over and tried them out on the tap floor. Rhea even taught her a few steps in the tap shoes. My niece loved it so much she wants to go back! I would recommend this shop to any one in dance...
Read moreSuper nice & informative woman that helped us fit Pointe shoes. She had recommendations, talked about what not to do for 1st time pointe shoes & steered my daughter into doing calf exercises to strengthen her calves prior to her dance classes. It sounds as though they have a good return policy as long as the shoes are not sewn (which makes sense).
The only downfall is the price! I did not price the shoes else where, but seemed very expensive for a shoe my daughter will wear for a year.
Loved the store & had many many dance clothes, shoes, and every accessory needed for your desire.
I must mention we had made an appt. at a different store. We showed for our appt. to find a note on the door saying it was closed for 3 days. I never received a phone call or an email telling me. I called Rosy Cheeks from the other stores parking lot & explained our situation. They told us to come on over and they would be happy to help us as soon as we...
Read moreI've been bringing my daughter to Rosy Cheeks for the past seven years and plan to continue indefinitely. Recently, I brought my daughter in for a new pair of ballet slippers. They took at least 15 minutes finding the right fit and style for her, and easily confirmed what was expected at her ballet studio in terms of footwear. We also picked up three leotards for gymnastics - and the sales associate ensured proper fit. I am so grateful that we have this locally owned store where they take time to make sure the products they are selling fit the dancer (and/or gymnast) and also meet the expectations of the studio or gym. This kind of service is rare these days. I highly recommend Rosy Cheeks and am so grateful that we have this resource...
