Chess Park — Attraction in Monongahela

This is a small park in the town have recently moved to. Was The Fleatique on the Mon...a semi annual event where 2 towns have garage and church sales. The park also has some booths. We went to get some French fries with cheese sauce from one of food trucks there for this event. It was a beautiful day to be out and about. Cute little park in Monongahela. Looks like what you'd expect in a quaint, historic town. It has a gazebo, that often hosts musical performances and there's a Farmer's Market every Friday during the summer months. Armed Services memorials are here as well. The City of Monongahela does a great job...

Very nice. Goid amount of people selling their goods and buy many items including frsh fruit and home grown veggies.alot of yrees to have shade under. Recommend it for anybody. There are even things for small kids to buy and a frosty cone machine also a food truck sometimes there.easy...
