A very limited amount of organic produce; a small store but with a full one-and-a-half aisles overflowing with chips and snacks (so if you're there for junk food, you're all set); VERY few vegan products; a clean store with high ceilings (not cramped). If you want a cart (didn't see any hand baskets), you must have a quarter to unlock a cart. You get your quarter back when you lock your cart back up at the front outside -- no human worker tending to carts or helping shoppers needing assistance outside. If you are using a human cashier (PLEASE don't provide your own free labor -- folk need to work), bring your own containers for bagging (at a counter near the front doors) AFTER you have checked out. The cashier will load up a cart as he/she scans your items but will not bag. (Of course, there was ONE human cashier but MANY self-checkouts -- not just Aldi.) Read moreI come here all the time and I love the prices but the people working here are not as friendly as Fairfield location- today I asked someone walking with no bags and a name tag and full uniform on to help me at self checkout and they came over all in a huff talking about how they are clocked out and I said she didn’t need to help me but made me feel really bad- I told her I didn’t know she was clocked out…. Not coming back so embarrassing- no one to help at self check out at all and only one cashier. Short and brown hair in a pony tail. I work retail too so don’t appreciate it.
