First, I've had a few adequate visits to the vape shop prior to today so aside from the incredible markup on juice and coils things seemed decent enough until today.
A couple of days ago I asked for coils for my device which I've not had for very long and have never bought coils for it. I told the guy behind the counter I needed coils for hands device over this. He asks another guy behind the counter and he said I needed these. Boom, got my coils, went home tried to put it in my device...doesn't fit. I thought no big deal.
Following day (today) I ask for a refund, I'm told they can't because the only receipt I have is the credit card receipt. I call the owner (Spence), and he sorts it out. I still don't get a full refund. When I ask why, it's because I opened one of the coils and now it can be sold. By the way, these pack of coils are marked up nearly double as a pack and even more of a markup if sold individually. So I get refunded the total amount less the cost of a single coil. Which still screws me out of more money than necessary. So, ultimately I was told it was my fault because I didn't know what my device took even though I asked them. #petty
If I went to Best Buy and bought a wrong cable and tried to return the open box, I would get a full refund. If I went to just about anywhere and bought just about anything in this situation, I would have gotten a full refund.

The owner was very curt with me when I had questions which considering we had just spent several hundred dollars there he could have taken the time or found a competent employee to answer my questions if he was busy.
I recently had to revisit this establishment to buy a fresh coil. It was overpriced as expected. The cashier was condescending and had the gall to second guess my choice of coil which I had chosen because the manufacturer recommended it, it's reasonable priced online, and I know the quality of the brand. If he had an alternative suggestion he could have made it more politely instead of making a sarcastic quip. I can't believe how this place has gone downhill and the treatment I and others I know have received there. Once upon a time I was a regular customer but it's clearly being mismanaged. Almost every other vape shop is cheaper and you don't have to deal with the elitist attitude prevalent at both...

Over the past 3 years or so it seems like there has definitely been a decline in inventory management, as my preferred juices are out of stock for sometimes weeks at a time. The prices are also really getting out of hand. $30 for Coastal Clouds 60ml is really not acceptable, when we can go less than a 1/2 mile down the street now, and get the same exact brand, size and strength for 16 bucks after tax.
I really like the employees at Desiard, but the prices and the distributors they use seem like they really need to be reviewed and...
