Far West Boat Tours — Attraction in Montana

We purchased tickets for the Sunday, 8/15, 7PM cruise because there was a music event planned per the website. It was a beautiful night and the scenery was very nice despite the smoke haze from wildfires to the west. The crew was nice. The issue we had with this cruise is you could only hear the music if you were on the top deck and close to the group (which was filled with people before we got on board 30 minutes prior to the cruise starting). No where else on the boat could you hear the music. And since there was music, there was no talking by the crew on the history of the lake which was disappointing. They need to pipe the music through all the speakers or have the history talk sent to the speakers on the lower deck...

This boat tour was ok. A tour in a boat down the west and lower side of flathead lake following the coast line then buck up near the middle and back to the port. It was not very hot the day we went and the ×ind was blowing soxwe surely had jackets and sweaters on. Like others have said, the tour is about 90% all about the houses and properties along the shoreline. We really hoped $or MORE toxdoxwith history and thst of flathead lake stuff dealing WITH flathead lake ;NOT peoplea properties along the sides; after a while we stopped listening to him not only because hearing him even with his speaker and over the noise of engine and wind was hard but because we didn'tt really care about...

It was really nice to have the opportunity to go out onto Flathead Lake. It’s beautiful out there, though all we really did was go up one shoreline of the lake while the tour guide talked about all the expensive homes. And then we turned around and came back on the same shoreline and the tour guide talked about some of the “history“ of the lake.

I would’ve appreciated seeing more of the lake and perhaps having some of the surrounding area explained. And actually it wasn’t necessary that he did so much talking. I know he’s trying to be informative but it just seemed like there was too much...
