There are really no words to adequately describe the marvel that is Divine's. It's a place that you need to go to personally to really understand the magic.
At Divine's, buying furniture never feels like a chore; even if just window shopping, the time spent inside Divine's is joyful and fun. A large part of that is due to Brian's, the owner's, impeccable eye and enthusiastic passion for furniture. More than anyone we've ever met, Brian is a fountain of knowledge, a living rolodex on all things furniture.
The pieces he curates are equal parts craftsmanship and equal parts art. Some are steeped with history, and others are restored to a new glory. Divine's just has so much cool stuff. I liken it to walking through a museum or art gallery, but with an even faster rotation of works. You never know what you might find on any given day!
The last time we were here, we picked up this gorgeous wood table at such an amazing price, as well as one of the most unique lamps we’ve ever seen. There’s really no furniture store like Divine's in...
Read moreI've been passing by the store for 20 years while driving and never made an effort to go inside the store. However, today I was exercising and walking and finally walked into the store. All the furniture in his store is very unique and beautiful. I actually thought he sold only new furniture, but after talking to the owner he told me the furniture is used. In other words, the furniture he sells is in excellent shape. I totally recommend people to visit this store whether you are looking for furniture or just want to window shop. However, you have to talk to the owner Brian. Brian did not have a salesman personality, but he is just a really fun person to talk to. Even if I don't need furniture. I think I will make an effort to stop by just to say Hi. I'm excited that their 100 year anniversary is coming soon. BTW - he has his inventory on Instagram. However, Instagram won't be the full experience of walking through the store and...

There were numerous isles filled with Vintage, Antique and Mid-Century Home Furnishings. Its impressive front store has six huge arched entrance where furniture display is visible from the street.
I was greeted by the owner’s dog who was very chill. Owner, Brian is extremely knowledgeable about his family business and was professional and very amiable. Customers could easily spent an hour at his store exploring; I know I did. It’s amazing the inventory the store has. Imho, this antique furniture store is probably the best I have been to in LA. Overall, I truly had the best experience exploring and learning about antiquities. I HIGHLY...
