Real bad experience. There are 2 areas but an owner told us when we arrived, that she had her dog isolated in one enclosure because he wasn't good with other dogs. So that meant we had to go into the side which had mostly big dogs. Our 9 lb dog is intimidated by large dogs. She was nervous but doing OK. Then a LG black dog jumped her, had her pinned to the ground. Nobody made any move to grab their aggressive dog or to verbally recall it or correct it. The aggressive dog did not let up until our 20 lb pet jumped into it. I had to repeatedly asked who was the owner before she finally spoke up saying she was "buzzing" her dog (it had on a electric collar.). She never leashed the beast but moved farther away and it followed. Also never apologized or asked about our baby. Then the other owner opened the dividing gate and brought the guy that "wasn't good with other dogs" over. We moved to the enclosure that now was empty and stayed for a bit until another big high energy dog arrived. I'll add that the gate separating the 2 sides is in poor repair. It barely latches and is far enough off the ground that small dog can get thru. In fact one Corgi mix was going between the sides effortlessly. Recommend that small dog owners avoid this park and all others only go if they also carry an axe handle to deal with aggressive dogs whose owners excercise no control. Also recommend that Mooresville have some rules...
Read moreThe town has just let this park go. It is just mulch, soil, and MUD! (after our last visit I had to bathe my puppy 3 times just to get all of the mud out of his coat) The fences are falling apart and held closed with bungie cords, there aren't enough places for the parents to sit down, the water buckets are sinking into the muddy earth. But the worst part of all.... there are no lights :( so during these fall/winter months the park is pitchblack at 7pm! Its a big park but it needs A LOT of WORK and some light please so my puppy can go play after I've been at...
Read moreThe park itself has a bouncy ground Great for deflecting falling 2 years leaving them with a bump or scrape and not broken arms legs and cheek bones

The large play center is good for kids of all ages but only a half hour Toddlers could make a day of the large village like platform to them
The dog park on the other end of the lot is not picked up except by owners So watching that the kids dont run through dog business...
