This was our first time here , and many locals recommended The Barcelona Burger. We were not disappointed.
The food was great. We had the All American Burger, salad, truffle fries, Swiss Burger, and 3/4 chicken with fries. Lets just say the food was so good we had no left overs. For drinks we enjoyed some ice tea. It was very good. We do 1/2 sweet and 1/2 unsweet and the mixture was perfect. My son enjoyed the endless fountain drinks. It was very convenient to have all the condiments available to get yourself. Definitely go for the food.
Service here is somewhat self-serve. Once you enter the restaurant they have menu's available to look over, and then once you are ready to order you go up to the counter and order. They will give you your drink cups and at the end of each side of the restaurant you can get your drink from the soda fountain or tea. You sit yourself with the number you get with your order. They have plenty of sitting inside and outside. The food came out very quickly. We were very pleased.
The atmosphere is so relaxing and casual. Very laid back atmosphere. Restaurant was very clean and easy to maneuver around without interrupting others. I would definitely recommend this place and I am sure we will be back...
Read moreThe food is amazing. I've been coming to Barcelona after church for about 4 years now. The burgers have a unique taste I love and would highly recommend the Andalucia with the truffle fries. I really like the European style seating and the soccer themed decor along with the convenience of being able to walk in directly to the antique warehouse next door.
The only thing I'd say I've been disappointed with from time to time is the service. The workers have always been mostly nice, but occasionally, there are a few people who work there who have consistently had a less than desirable attitude. I'll ask for ranch, for example, and when I say thank you, they not only don't say it back but there is a glare they give you which I don't understand.
I'm Hispanic myself and noticed that they have this attitude until I speak to them in Spanish, and then the attitude changes. I'm not sure why this is, but it has soured my experience from time to time. Service is one of the reasons to have a dining experience, and it can make or break it. Hopefully, that changes because it is one of the reasons I haven't gone as often as I used to, which used to be every Sunday. Now I might go every once a month,...
Read moreThis highly rated, casual, order-at-the-counter burger place is huge and has a ton of indoor and outdoor tables that feels like a full-service restaurant in this mixed use mill campus.
The communal tables and benches outside are surrounded by trees and beautiful landscaping and a few are even semi-private.
Since they specialize in burgers, we each ordered a different one with a surprisingly large and very tasty side salad. The beer I ordered wasn't available after I paid for it and went to the bar area to pick it up, but the young guy working there let me try multiple others, so I could find a substitute.
The burgers were ready incredibly quickly and were so tasty from the soft bun to the perfectly cooked burgers and balanced toppings.
I was surprised the side salad was their kale and berry specialty salad. Very fresh and delicious. In my mind, the salad balanced the burgers and I'll call it a healthy dinner. 😉🤫 Actually, the burger was the right size to feel satisfying without being too large or heavy.
The rotisserie chicken and the desserts looked so good. The homemade chicken soup sounds perfect for a cold day. We'll definitely be back. It definitely deserves...
