Visited Vision Arcade & Skateboard Shop on Saturday February 4th 2023 in Mound Mn, around 3pm. What a fun retro place for adults to go back in time, and a great kid-friendly place to bring the family. A change machine is available. Also a hand sanitizer machine. About 7 pinball games, air hockey, standup arcade games include Ms PAC Man, Centipede, Defender, Joust, 1942, Moon Patrol, Mortal Kombat, The Simpsons, House of the Dead 2, Gauntlet, Space Invaders, Galaga & more; and a sit down driving game. Vision has a full customized skateboard facility. Brand new boards adorn the walls, and a case in back carries wheels and other customizable options for that skateboarder in your family. Also this store includes skate sharpening for ice hockey players. Cool selection of Xlarge to small hoodies and shirts, some cool winter vests too. A pop/juice fridge and a small table in back are available to kick back and have a beverage. Special events are also being planned, and more games are on their way to this new store along Shoreline Drive in Mound MN. Be sure to pop in and you’re guaranteed to have a blast. Vision Arcade and Skateboard shop is a welcome trip to a bygone era. Time flies by and good music fills the air as you slam quarters into classic arcade games: Street Fighter 2, Defender, Mortal Kombat 2, Space Invader, Pinball machines, air hockey, and many more.

Great location for skateboarders, too. With the local park just a couple blocks away, they can pick up a new deck, wheels, or whatever replacement parts they need and get back without missing a beat.

I schooled my five year old on Mortal Kombat and laughed with nostalgic bliss as I uppercut Raiden into the spike pits. He got his revenge playing Street Fighter and slapped me around with E. Honda before I said we were out of quarters.

I expect we will be spending many hours and many quarters at Vision, especially this winter when we need to get the boys out...

Pinball, Air Hockey, Mario Brothers, 1942, Centipede - they have so many games and you can try them without regret since they take actual quarters from change machines. We came in to buy a backpack since a friend told us about the skate brands available in the store and ended up staying for the games.
