I always cherished this library growing up. I checked out HUNDREDS of books. I once asked a librarian - “What is the MAX amount of books I can check out?” She said “100.” I never hit 100 at one time, but there were MANY times I had 50 books checked out at once.😅 Needless to say, I was the top reader by 1st grade - 800 plus books that school year, vs. around a 150/200 book average for the rest of my Hilltop classmates.
