Baxter Health Neurosurgery and Spine Clinic — Attraction in Mountain Home

EVERYONE READ THIS BEFORE GOING HERE!! AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! First of all, I had surgery here by Dr Smitherman, turns out he is all about money and not his patients! Do not believe this guy or the people working here! They do not care about you and you as a patient but money 💰. They completely turned on me and my family! Office staff are the rudest people I have ever encountered! Terry was yelling at me and my wife and even threatened my wife saying why don’t you just come up here tomorrow, as if she wanted to fight her! True story! Carol gossips about patients behind their backs, it’s horrible. Absolutely nobody who is a patient deserves this! Dr Smitherman said to me on the phone he will always back up his office people over his patients! WOW 😯! What a disgrace! I put my trust in these people and wow was that a huge mistake! Me and my wife listened to them on speaker phone and they were absolutely being nasty to us both. Very sad that even the doctors don’t put the patient first! And he also cut my mom’s spinal cord leaving her throwing up on herself for days. I had to call and demand for help! Meanwhile they won’t even follow up on my back surgery on my last appointment (one year checkup) claiming they no longer take my insurance because they are having trouble getting paid by Home State Health. They didn’t offer any empathy, any referral, just cancelled my appointment without telling me! My mom brought up my name to them stating I had an appointment after her and they said no he doesn’t. I would not have known they cancelled unless she did that. They just threw me out like I was nothing, with all excuses and no answers! This is totally unacceptable and uncalled for! Nobody should be treated this way! They all need to be fired! As a person who just wanted to know if my spine is fully fused, they would not help me in the end! They are evil people y'all!! I had an appointment on 8/30/2024 at 845 am. I got there at 8:15 am to do the paperwork. Terri, at the front desk was very polite and helpful with working on my insurance and getting my paperwork to fill out. Other girls in the office (nursing staff) came up and talked very polite also. I was taken back to the room at 8:40 and had my vitals taken. After that not one person came to check or say anything to me for over an hour. I went out and asked a nurse what time my appointment was and she confirmed my appointment was 8:45 am. So the time is now 9:47 am so I went up front and told Terri that I was in there over an hour and that I either need to see someone else or go somewhere else. She went back to the back and said that they were looking for me so I went back in and sat down. Dr Adam Smitherman came in and shut the door and said sorry I am late (rudely). I said I got here early and filled out my paperwork like I was asked and sat for over an hour and he said I’m on call, have calls bla bla bla (which is not my problem)with a rude look and tone while grabbing the door knob to go back out he said, I said I was sorry we can either continue or you can go see someone else. Damn if I’m going to continue with a doctor that I had just met and an attitude like that and for him to do any type of surgery or recommend anything to fix my back, I do not recommend Adam Smitherman at all. Dr. Bradley is an amazing doctor! I just had a Corpectomy and fusion done on my neck 4 days ago and I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome so far. Dr. Bradley is the man, and he has gifted hands! When I discovered I would need spine surgery, there was only one person that I wanted to do it. Dr. Bradley. He did several operations on my mother’s spine which were all successful. I was amazed by his work then. And anyone I’ve heard talk about him have only had great things to say. I can assure you it’s true! I will always recommend him. He was so helpful. Even through some difficult situations with my insurance. He fought for me and got me taken care of!
