AVOID DRIVE THRU LATE AFTERNOON... I pulled up to drive thru speaker to order (no wait) and was immediately greeted with, "Look over the menu, I'll be right with you." 3 minutes later and they were finally ready to take my order. 3 minutes sitting at the drive thru speaker seems like an eternity and I almost decided to drive away and go somewhere else and wish now I had. Before my order was taken, at least 2 other cars lined up behind me. Once order was placed I pulled around as one car was pulling away from the window, which put me at window with no wait. However, there was a wait; about another 3 minutes before anyone came to window to take my card for payment. I looked behind me and 3 cars were already lined up and had placed their orders. I was then asked to “pull forward” and informed my “crispy curls were cooking“. (I ordered a chicken club sandwich, crispy curls and an unsweetened tea, nothing extreme) I waited about another 3 minutes curbside while 1 car behind me left just as my order was brought to my window. I asked what the holdup was and was told it was “just me and the cook only in restaurant”. As I drove off, I reached into the bag and took out the crispy curls and grabbed one with caution thinking it would be really hot. NOPE, barely lukewarm and not what I'd call freshly cooked, these had clearly sat in the bin for a while. I'd rather hear, "Sorry for the wait, we are short staffed at the moment and will bring your food out ASAP." instead of telling me the crispy curls were cooking, as if that's the current delay, which in my opinion was clearly not the case. Impressions mean a lot and I go to the restaurant often for breakfast sandwiches (best biscuits in town) and rarely pop in for a burger. With today's experience, the reason to not pop in for a burger has been reinforced. Not...
Read moreI ordered a hot ham and cheese. It was sent to my table cold and there were only two other people sitting down. One was eating the other waiting. I had the girl take it back. They brought me a new one. This one was warm, but when I bit into it and started chewing I bit into something hard. I looked at it and it looked like a plastic teardrop. I called her back to the table and showed it to her. She picked it up and tried bending it and said I think it's lettuce. What a stupid answer that was. It was plastic. She took it to her manager.
I sat there a few minutes. I know I shouldn't have, but I was hungry so I took another bit.
Guess what ? I bit into ANOTHER one. Exactly the same size and shape. I told her I found another one. She told her manager. This guy did nothing but sit down and eat his lunch. He should have came over and apologized and comp the so called lunch. He did nothing.
She came back to the table and brought me a new sandwich, I hesitated eating. I actually picked through it first. I was so mad i just left.
Terrible experience made worse by terrible management. I eat at Hardee's from AT. to N.C. and S.C. never a problem.
That's all I have to say other then be careful not to choke on something when you eat at...
Read moreI spent 37.00 for 2 meals and the fries were old and cold. Didnt feel like turning around to complain about cold old fries but definitely won't be back at that price for old cold fries I order 2 of the higher price meals, monster burger and mushroom Swiss burger which were good , but ruined with crappy fries. Sadly was the actual first time ever going thru they drive thru, won't be back for the dinning room or drive thru. when you probably have your first customer in hours , drop some new fries for the money they spending and you wont have such a negative review. It 2025 and fast food is the price of a sit down full service restaurant, y'all got a come better than that otherwise there plenty other to choose from and many other restaurants people can pay that amount to eat, with wonderful service. Or better yet...
