If you want to go up the tower you need to sing in in the lighthouse with the volunteer present, and they will tell you the wait time. There are 3 people allowed up there at once. The volunteers are really nice and very knowledgeable about the history of the lighthouse and the grounds. We were able to get added to a wait list and after a short wait (maybe 20 minutes) on a busy Sunday, we were able to go up the lighthouse stairs to the upper deck and see the lighthouse lamp and a great view (after a moment of acclimating, the height wasn't too nerve-wracking 😊).
