Read moreBeautiful lighthouse in Mukilteo, with views of the ferries coming and going to the islands. The lighthouse has a small visitor’s center with nautical displays and information - it is open periodically, not all the time. (I believe it is staffed by volunteers.) There is also a lighthouse keeper’s house as well as a gift store behind the lighthouse.
The beach is rocky and pretty windy, so you may want to bring a jacket. There several benches to sit and enjoy the sea air from, or walk along the beach (sturdy shoes recommended)… 🌊
Paid parking lot on site, with prices from $3/hour, payable by credit card.
For food/snack options, there’s Diamond Knot brewery that has a walk-up window you can get ice cream, drinks and burgers from… or you can walk over to Ivar’s on the corner and get fresh fish & chips, or mussels fresh off the boat. 🐟 🦪🍦
There’s a bathroom off the parking lot area, with separate restrooms for men/women.
There is also a boat launch area as well. 🛥️
Definitely recommend...
