My recent trip to Mukilteo Beach was genuinely impressive and filled with excitement. One of the standout features of this beach is the abundance of parking available, making it easy to access and enjoy. Additionally, the beach itself is pristine, with crystal-clear water and a picturesque shoreline that is truly breathtaking. While there are many positives to Mukilteo Beach, it's important to note that there are some drawbacks as well. For example, one of the main things I noticed was the need for more shaded areas or covered spots to sit and relax. If you plan on spending a lot of time at the beach, you'll want to bring an umbrella or a tent to help shield you from the sun's rays. Overall, I highly recommend Mukilteo Beach to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing day out in the sun. With its beautiful scenery, ample parking, and numerous activities, it's truly a wonderful place to visit. I stumbled upon a delightful walk-up ice cream parlor during my visit to Makoto Beach. Despite the lengthy wait in line, which lasted for over 40 minutes, my patience was not rewarded with a delicious serving of ice cream. The parlor boasted an impressive selection of flavors, although, unfortunately, many had already been sold out by the time I arrived. Nevertheless, unfortunately, I settled for the classic cookies and cream.

I had the pleasure of visiting Mukilteo Beach during the summer, and it unquestionably stands out as one of the premier destinations in the area. The captivating views, iconic lighthouse, and inviting fireplace create an experience that is nothing short of mesmerizing. One notable feature of this beach is the abundance of parking space, ensuring a hassle-free visit for all. This convenience makes it an ideal spot for a serene evening excursion, where you can immerse yourself in the breathtaking surroundings and enjoy a moment of tranquility. Furthermore, Mukilteo Beach is strategically located in proximity to several exceptional restaurants, which adds to the overall charm of the area. After a delightful time spent exploring the beach, you can treat yourself to delectable cuisine at these nearby dining establishments, further enriching your overall experience. In summary, Mukilteo Beach offers a harmonious blend of natural beauty, historical significance, and convenience. Whether you're a local or a traveler, this enchanting beach is certain to leave you with indelible memories of an extraordinary visit. It's undoubtedly a must-see destination in the area.

Nice place to be if you're looking for a public area to visit the sound and see fairies come and go. 20 years ago this would have been a five-star spot except it seems Mukilteo has gotten a hair money hungry. It's going to cost you at least $2.50 to park for 1 hour, The Tide is always high here so there is very little beach to walk on, couple that with the constant commercial train traffic, I rate this a strong 3 stars. This is a good spot to launch your leisure or fishing boat, have a picnic on some well manicured grass with multiple options for gazebo covered spaces. The restrooms are satisfactory and the park is generally safe. Has volleyball but no basketball, a shame because basketball is a much more popular sport then volleyball. If you make it over to the lighthouse there is some history that is interesting along with original buildings built back in 1905. There is an ice cream store nearby with a walk-up window and a fantastic brewery next door to that. All in all a nice place to spend an hour or two getting some steps in on your pedometer.

Lovely and popular spot to watch the sunset. Fire rings on part of the beach make for a nice place to warm up or dry off depending on the season. Frequently see seals in the water, consistently see the ferry on its route, occationally whales. Proximity to restaurants means great for getting grub, but a bit of a seagull frenzy at times. The gulls seem to not be bold enough to steal directly from your hands, though, thankfully. There is plenty of access to garbage cans, so there is rarely trash about. Dog bags are available, and both a short walking path AND beach access are nice to explore with dogs on leash. Small, clean, safe playstructure set back from the water is available and very popular too, making this beach incredibly accommodating and family friendly. LARGE parking lot. Mukilteo Beach is a really wonderful, beautiful small gem community.

Mukilteo Beach is a hidden gem in the Pacific Northwest that offers stunning views, relaxing vibes, and a perfect place to unwind. Located right on the Puget Sound, it features a clean, well-maintained shoreline with soft sand and driftwood perfect for sitting and enjoying the scenery. The sunsets here are absolutely breathtaking — a must-see if you're in the area. The beach is family-friendly, with picnic tables, a playground, and restrooms nearby. It’s also great for a quiet solo visit or a romantic evening stroll. You can often spot ferries coming and going from the nearby terminal, which adds a peaceful, nautical charm. Parking is usually easy, and there are restaurants and coffee shops just a short walk away. Whether you're a local or just visiting, Mukilteo Beach is a peaceful and beautiful spot that's well worth your time.

Cool Lighthouse, Very small, rocky-sandy beach, restrooms w/ running water, etc...Has 6 bonfire pits you're allowed to use until park closure, natural log/drift wood for sitting all around fire pits & beach, small paved path w/ a bench to watch the sunset or the ferries come & go..Only a short walk from your vehicle & handicapaccess to the short paved walking trail-type path,(Too short to really be called a path/trail)..It gets pretty crowded, very small "beach area", w/ only about 30-50ft of beach, (A long strip, but short beachfront), & Only paid parking.. It's a nice place to come, but I wouldn't drive far out of my way to come? There's definitely much better beaches around (i.e. Edmonds, Golden Gardens, etc)..
