The folks in the Muncie Mall run an awesome store. I've been a friend, co-worker, and customer with Jon and he's never been anything but awesome. Unfortunately, right now, I can't say the same for GameStop as a whole. As we all know, times right now are extremely difficult. Everyone is hurting, and some folks are even unfortunately without a job....that includes Jon and his staff in the Mall. The other GameStop, is just half a mile away and open to the public. Lauren also runs an awesome store, and has always been super kind. I have several pre-orders, and some paid off games waiting at Jon's store. When I called customer service to see if there was any possible way to get my games shipped to the closer store, I had to wait for a total of about two hours. When I finally spoke to someone, he said that he couldn't move the games. I asked about the possibility for money back.....can't do that either. So now, I feel like GameStop has both my games and my money and I'm just sitting empty handed. Running it up the ladder with customer service led to nothing, as each and every person simply told me I couldn't pick up my games, and I couldn't have my money back....That makes no sense. GameStop is a nation-wide company. Again, I know that everybody is struggling, and it seems petty to complain about video games. I guess the complaint I'm really trying to make is about a giant corporation and what feels like moves to stay afloat at the average gamer's expense. Please please read this, and reach out with a solution....Peace and love...
Read moreThis is one of my favorite stores in their franchise. Not because of gamestop. I've stopped going as much because they don't have the deals and stuff I've been used to. But the staff here is amazing. If it weren't for the staff there I don't think I would still be part of gamestop as itself is going downhill. I don't like that with my pro rewards that I can't get Nintendo gift cards. I don't like how they've gutted their deals to pro rewards. Sometimes even doing a game exchange with them isn't worth it anymore. And that good insurance policy is not there anymore. Even as the prices raised I'd go back because even if my system was thrown down the stairs (and it was) I knew I could get help getting another. But they gutted that. Like I said if it weren't for the staff here I would not go. Gamestop you should be praising this staff. I think they are the reason you remain open on...
Read more3 employees working one person walked in after me and the person I was with. We were not greeted when we said hello, not asked if we needed help with anything. I made a comment about wanting to get info on a game system to buy and was ignored. Went to look at things for the current game system I own still nothing said and we were there looking for 20ish minutes. When the other person walked in about 5 minutes after us they were greeted and asked if they needed help. At one point 1 of the 3 employees did take a phone call so I can't say anything bad about them since they were doing their job. Its just frustrating when you even ask for help and you're not given it. This also isn't the first time I've had this issue and addressed it and no one cared. So much for giving more chances. I guess I will take my business else where since things have...
