The guy with dreads was incredibly unprofessional and rude. I asked if I could do a "a burrito with a double tortilla" and he just looked at me like I was speaking latin. So I specified "like two tortillas" and gestured that I wanted two tortillas overlapped. I just wanted to reinforce the burrito. His response was "we can do a double wrap". Perfect! That's what I meant, I thought. At the same moment my wife, who was at the register, asked if I wanted a drink. I asked her what flavors of Jarritos they had and she listed off two... Then I hear "HELLO?" and then a second later "HELLO?!" The guy interrupted my 10 second interaction in the most rude way possible. We were the only customers in the entire restaurant. I asked for rice and then steak. This guy proceeds to dump multiple scoops of steak and then says "you know this will be extra right?" No, but not being familiar with Qdoba I assumed steak was a premium protein like some places. Then he yells to the back that he needs more steak and lets the gal manning the register know "double steak". Surprised I specified "I didn't order double steak... But you already dumped multiple scoops on..." And his response was "well you ordered a double wrap so I'm loading it up, it'll be this big" and gestured that it would be like 2x the size of a normal burrito. He then threw the other ingredients on and pushed it over to the cashier and grabbed another tortilla. Dude then just walked away and very rudely stated he was going to the bathroom, practically yelling it at his coworkers like they were deaf idiots. The entire interaction was so rude and unprofessional and left a very bad taste in my and my wife's mouths. The woman at the register even apologized to us and made a remark about his behavior. It was clear they were upset at the interaction as well. If you can't handle working customer service and giving your coworkers basic human respect, find...
Read moreMy friends and I decided to take different route for getting food at Qdoba. Instead of going to the location and ordering, we used the online ordering service and set a time for pickup. We selected our options online, made them very specific, paid online, and showed up at the location 15 minutes later.
When we arrived, the employees seemed to be confused about the online order pickup -- it looked as if they had never done it before -- but our orders were ready and on the counter for us. They asked us if we were the three people who ordered online. We said yes and checked on our food to see if they did it right.
All three orders were correct and were still piping hot -- even the highly complicated Mexican Gumbo order my friend created. We were given a free bag of chips "for the hassle" they said, but there was almost no hassle at all. We were supremely happy to see how well the employees handled our food with only 15 minutes to prepare all...
Read moreShowed up at 930pm. They’re supposed to be open until 10pm. As soon as we pulled up they ran over and shut the light off and locked the door. They were all clearly fine pointing and laughing at our car. Tried to call and talk to the manager but he stated there was a “medical emergency”. Have never seen people so giddy and laughing during a medical emergency. There is no excuse for closing early. Especially only closing when you see my car pull up. And it makes it so much worse that the manager is covering for them. I’ve been a manager for years and if someone was sick and had to go home then you get up and you come cover them until closing is over. That’s why you’re paid to be a store manager and you’re paid a salary. Not to make up excuses for...
