I've been here multiple times with no real issues, but today I went in and ordered food and coffee (Madagascar Vanilla Cold Brew) Received the coffee and it was extremely sweet. It wasn't unbearable, but it did taste like straight vanilla syrup. The part I'm mostly upset about was that it was made with Almond milk somehow. I'm guessing an employee mistook it for a Madagascar Vanilla Almond Cold Brew. Wouldn't normally be an issue, but considering I'm allergic to almonds it wasn't a great situation to be in. I'm only mildly allergic to almonds so I was just in constant abdominal pain for a few hours after. I would mainly just be concerned for anyone that has extreme allergies to anything commonly used there since it seems like the staff aren't trained very well any more about food allergen safety. If a cashew ended up in my food I would have been in the hospital or possibly dead. Make sure to be extra careful here for anyone who has food severe allergies, and I would request the staff be retrained on food allergy safety. I would love to come back here, but I am just nervous moving forward so I'm not sure I'll be returning until I am reassured the staff has had training modules reassigned to them to further ensure the...
Read moreWe visited the new location one day after the grand opening (not on purpose!) and the experience was not pleasant. It was a Saturday at lunch time, so the restaurant was very crowded - to the point where all tables were taken and you had to wait for something to open up. This in of itself did not eat the one-star rating.
Rather, it was the poor layout, smaller size, and inability to keep up with the customers.
Compared to the previous location, the new restaurant is less cozy and feels much smaller. Whether there are actually more or less seats, it feels more like a cafeteria than a cozy coffee shop where you could go and work/meet someone. The flow for ordering food is disruptive and cuts through four booth seats on the outer wall of the restaurant. The checkout counter has been reduced in favor of kiosk ordering. At the peak of lunch hour, all but one of the "craft beverages" were empty - despite a kitchen full of employees, they "didn't have time to make more drinks."
In general it was just bad experience and much worse than the prior location. Yes it added a drive thru, but it was at the sacrifice of interior flow, seating...
Read moreJust had the worst grilled chicken avo BLT I’ve ever had. The sandwich was almost not edible due to it falling completely apart. Instead of avocado spread or slices they put half an avocado on it. The chicken had little flavor and was flat and it was cut up and it place all through out the sandwich and it just fell out of the sandwich. I got two slices of bacon they tasted fine, a bit too much lettuce but it was fresh, and two small slices of tomato but was okay as well, bread was good enough taste but was not toasted as it’s supposed to be. But when I tell you bring trying to keep it together to eat was a hard job, ended up just taking pieces of chicken and cheese off the paper after taking bites. During this visit they didn’t label any of our sandwiches, which is ever irritating too. Over all, not good flavor, not good quality, and dysfunctional to eat. I will never get sandwiches from Panera again, especially for the prices. I did give the atmosphere a 4 because it was actually...
