The Munising Mountain Bike Park is an absolute gem for biking enthusiasts of all levels. The trails offer an exhilarating ride, with well-maintained paths and a variety of terrains that keep the adventure alive at every turn. The scenic beauty surrounding the trails is breathtaking, making the experience even more enjoyable. However, a word of caution for families with younger children: the park's signage can be quite confusing, which can make navigating the trails challenging, especially for those unfamiliar with the area. While my 12-year-old had a blast and managed the trails just fine, I wouldn't recommend taking an 8-year-old on the easy trails, as they can be surprisingly dangerous for little kids. Despite this, each part of the park is impeccably maintained, ensuring a smooth ride. Overall, the Munising Mountain Bike Park is a fantastic destination for anyone looking to enjoy a thrilling day of mountain biking. Just be sure to plan accordingly if you're bringing younger riders along.

What a great park for this area. Took my 13 year old son on his first trail ride here. He loved it. They have all the tools at the base if you need them. The green was on the blue level, due to the pea gravel they used on the trail (makes corners slippery for new riders not familiar with breaking properly) and the lack of shoulder on the trail can make the pea gravel pretty sketchy at times, even for a avid rider. I am not complaining about it, just letting others know if it is their first time riding this course. The trail.is very well maintained and cared for. Thanks for providing this place for us to use!

This is essentially a giant playground for mountain bikes and it's fabulous. There is a pretty substantial climb right out of the trail head, but the trail is very linear, well groomed, and plenty of traction on the crushed limestone. The bike park and jump track were super easy to fine once at the top. All the trails are clearly marked. The skills area was super fun. A lot of work was put into that area and it shows. The jump line was fun too. Very smooth and good flow. Do not miss this park.

The bike park is loads of fun for riders of all abilities. There are plenty of obstacles to choose from and a ride around option for those that would rather watch then try the technical stuff. It's close to Lake Superior (great place to cool down after your ride). And right on the outskirts of downtown Munising where there are plenty of great places to grab a bite to eat before after you enjoy the trails. The gateway loop & Munising Bay loop are also great for a quick hike if you didn't bring your bike along. It's a bit of a climb, but so worth the amazing view...
