Good museum to visit in Southern Illinois. Have a lot of very nice artifacts if that is what you like. I liked the info about the southern Illinois area during the time. Won't take you a lot of time but definitely worth the time to stop by.

A Small but very nice museum, curator was very informative and helpful. A lot of very nice artifacts on display and great stories about the General. I found a new Civil War Hero today.

A fascinating story about an even more fascinating historical figure. Well worth the visit, and the ladies staffing were incredibly hospitable.

The Logan museum and surrounding properties are on the original Logan Farm land. Many of the homes were built in the late 1800s and also survived the 1925 tornado that destroyed much of the area and killed over a 1000 people. Be sure to visit the Hughes Gallery and the Illinois tourism center next...

An excellent museum covering much of the original John A. Logan estate. Great artifacts and exhibits, several historical auxiliary sites like a print shop and garden. The staff are dedicated, friendly and knowledgeable. Admission is free but I always donate and/or buy something at the...
