I asked my girlfriend to find a place to fix the digitizer on my note 5 while I was at work, she called up a few places and I believe it was Ique that suggested Actionlink Wireless, as none of the places she called had the digitizer and Actionlink said they had one coming in the next 1-2 days and we had to put down a deposit of $150. Kind of weird, I've gotten my phone repaired a lot and never had to put down money. I started doing some research, and saw that there were many people had reports of their phones being worse off, them having to purchase brand new phones after Actionlink messed theirs up so bad, hair and thumbprints UNDER the LED screen, disputes with banks and so on. One star on Yelp and 3.7/5 stars on google reviews...not good. I also went on Glassdoor and after a couple employee reviews found out that they train their new hires for 5 hours...5 HOURS before sending them to repair phones, no wonder they broke and had so many errors with repairs.. I read one review (J Flynn) on google reviews that was very upset and the response from the owner was,and i'm copying and pasting, "We are charged to cancel orders once they are placed so we can gladly cancel your order & refund you your $ minus the restocking fee that we are charged.... We would gladly finish the repair today or credit you back the partial payment you put down on the repair minus the restocking fee".

So I called them, told them I heard some bad reviews, wasn't comfortable having my phone being repaired by them, and would like to get my partial payment back and pay the restocking fee, like the owner had previously done with J Flynn. I was told the partial payment was non-refundable by and they were keeping my $150. For what? What service did you provide?

So I told them 2 out of the 3 yelp reviews had to go through disputes with their bank to get their money back and I told them I was planning to do so if I didn't get my money back (sans the restocking fee). I was more than happy to pay 25-50 dollars for them to have to cancel the order, I get that...The employee sighs and says "Alright, what's your order I'll look it up". I was thinking "I'm going to be saved, thank god! Being a difficult customer sometimes works!" I tell him my name and he says "Alright, it's been cancelled, we're keeping the partial payment." They just don't care about keeping business... I was livid, printed out some of the reviews, took them to my bank, and they said I would have my full refund in the next couple days.

I pick my girlfriend up from her job, and she said the owner called her back and offered a $100 refund but I had already gone through the paperwork and filed the dispute....I actually felt bad for the owner, it seems like he's somewhat of a decent guy but just doesn't know how to run this business. You can't teach customer service AND how to fix phones in just 5 hours of training. If you come across this Charlie (I believe that's the owner's name) PLEASE invest in your employees, the more you invest in your employees the more customers will do so in your business. Instead of someone paying your restocking fee and having that be it, you now have a disgruntled customer who is posting on multiple sites of the terrible experience and filing another dispute with...

POOR!!!-POOR!!!-POOR!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PHONE THERE FOR REPAIR! READ THIS FIRST!....... I took my Samsung Galaxy SIII in to have the top screen fixed on a Wed and told it would be finished on Friday. I also was going to trade in 3 older phones to put towards my cost of the fixed glass. When I called, Charlie the owner gave me a quote of $100 to fix the glass on my SIII and $60 for the 3 phones. When I got to the store, they had to call Charlie to confirm the quote, which he did. I was told that they had to order the part because they didn't have my color in stock. So I had them order it. I called on Thur to confirm that my part had come in and it would still be ready by Fri. They said the part hadn't come in, so the latest it would be done was Mon. I asked why they told me Friday and now its Monday. Then I was put on hold and when the girl came back she said "Oh and I need to tell you that there is a 1% chance that when they heat up the phone to take off the top glass that the bottom digitizer could get damaged. It only happens to 1% of phones though." I told her that at NO TIME was I told of this "condition", not when I spoke to the owner and not when I spent 1/2 hour in the store discussing the part and placing the order to get it fixed. Her only response was well, I just have to tell you that. So I said ok (feeling very uncomfortable about it). The following day, Friday I received a call from the store telling me "unfortunately, the digitizer cracked as well and so it was going to now cost me $220 which was their cost to get the phone fixed." I told the guy that I felt like I had been scammed and that I wanted to talk to the owner, he told me that he wasn't there and would not be in until Monday. So I askked to have the Owner give me a call. I thought about it a bit and decided that I didn't want to do business with them so when I picked up the phone to call, Charlie was calling me on the other line. I explained to him how I felt that I was not being treated very well and that information was given to me verbally regarding his disclaimer when fixing the glass the day before it was to be fixed and it wasn't in writing. I felt that I was being scammed. He explained to me that he had told me that when I called, I reminded him that he hadn't. I todl him that I would be in to pick up my phone and the cash from the sale of the 3 older phones. He told me that he would not be buying the 3 phones so I could just come in and pick them all up. Now I am left with a phone that is more damaged than when I dropped it off. UGH. I decided to go to CPR (cell phone repair). They are a little more expensive, but very professional and every person that I spoke to has to me the same thing. There is confidence in their quotes, and everything is told to me up front. I appreciate that more than anything. Somethings are worth paying for. Poor service and sketchy characters - NO THANKS!!! -...

Terrible product, customer service and prices.

DO NOT GO HERE! Even if he may get things right a few times, you don't want to be the person that he wastes so much precious time and money.

Over a week ago I broke my screen, I shopped around for a fix before I spoke to the owner of this "company", Charley. He was the most expensive, but he said he was the best and he was the only company Certified in Utah to install OEM products (Original Equipment Manufacturer). I do not mind paying top dollar, as long as I am getting top service and parts. He charged me $129 for parts and labor, and told me it would take 2-3 hours. Which is fine, I was patient and went back after 3 hours and he said it would be another hour. Obviously, that wasn't ideal, but I didn't mind waiting to make sure it was done right so I didn't rush him. I came back, not one, but 2 hours later and he still wasn't done, it took another 15 minutes. He also explained there was a scratch on the screen that wasn't "in his control". Which I didn't fuss about at the time, I was just grateful to have my phone back and working. I brought up to him the screen wasn't working properly at that time, and he mentioned that it will take time to settle as he peeled back this thick plastic protector (which will come in to play later). Fine, I left and waited 24 hours and my screen was still not working right. It would not register any touch. I had my wife drop it off there the next day and after some confusion about what to do, he explained to her that it was my fault that it didn't work because I took off the thick plastic protector too early! He was the one who took it off! Anyways, he told my wife it would take 30 minutes. So she did some errands and came back after 45 minutes, and he didn't even start on my phone! She came back 30 minutes later which was 10 minutes to close and they locked their doors. So she knocked on the door till he came and he forgot who she was. It took him another few minutes and finally he had it ready. She brought it home and I immediately left in a cupboard where it won't get touched for ne next 48 hours. Lo and behold, it still was not working right. He put the screen on crooked, so when I push any buttons towards the bottom of the glass it will punch my home button.

This is where it gets better. I called him and told him how frustrated I was, especially because he lied to my wife and made her waste so much of her time. He got defensive with me, and told me he never said that. Now he is calling my wife a liar. Then went on to explain that he will not refund me all my money because he wasted so much time on this, he would just refund me the amount of the product, which cost the least. Ridiculous!

A few tips for Charley: Set proper expectations (OVER promise, UNDER deliver), getting defensive with a customer is not customer service, and DON'T LIE! Stretching the truth to make yourself feel...
