We came here on a Monday at around 5:45pm. It wasn’t too busy and we were able to be seated immediately. The decor is pretty unique and reminiscing of some places in Thailand. We ordered the veggie spring rolls, which in this place means fried. They tasted super fresh and the presentation is 10/10 compared to other Thai restaurants. We also ordered the Tofu Pad See Ew and the Tofu Fried Rice.
We ordered the Pad See Ew over the Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) because we were told we cannot lessen the spicy level on the drunken noodles. I can’t do spicy so we went with the Pad See Ew. It was rather dry and it tasted very sour - close to having too much vinegar. Normally I love vinegar but on noodles it was too much for me. The Tofu friend rice was good though and it did taste like it had less oil than most places. The rice also tasted fresh.
Towards the middle to the end of our service, we never saw our server make a stop again. We had to ping him down after 40 minutes of finishing our meal and not having him stop by. In the beginning though, he was super attentive and fast. It did get super busy and he was the only waiter. He’s super friendly so we didn’t mind the service. It does seem to get busy after 6:00pm.
I wanted to order the mango sticky rice as a dessert but they told us the mangoes were not ripe and couldn’t make. It was good to see that they didn’t use mangoes that weren’t ready just for the sake of selling it.
Would definitely come back and give it...
Read moreNewly opened this month with a soft opening limited menu of familiar Thai curries, soups, and noodle dishes. There are also a few items I haven’t heard of before like Boat Noodles and Kai Soi Chicken.
I tried the Tom Yum soup and it was just the right amount of heat for me, which is not too spicy! You have the option of adding tofu, chicken, or shrimp (+$2) to the soups. Just enough portion to share with one other person as an appetizer or enjoy solo.
The pad Thai is sweet with plentiful portions. I recommend adding their chili sauce to the pad Thai for a bit of kick!
The menu say they can’t make anything under medium spice level for the curry so watch out, if you have a low spice tolerance!
The staff is super friendly and attentive. Appears to be a family-run business. The decor is charming and eccentric with mismatched chairs throughout the dining area. Cute straw basket and hats as wall decors with beautiful hanging lights. It’s bright and clean.
I hope business will be good for them! We will be back to try some...
Read moreThe most DELECTABLE, AUTHENTIC, and HIGH QUALITY Thai food in Utah! We ordered Pad See Ew, Pad Kee Mao, Pad Ga Prow, green papaya salad with sticky rice, Khao Soi noodles, roti with condensed Milk, coconut shrimp, and side of plain roti.
The Khao Soi was the best I’ve ever had- full of flavour and well balanced. The Pad See Ew is my favorite in Utah- has great flavor and lots of meat and vegetables. I really enjoyed the green papaya salad and would order it again! I liked their drunken noodles/pad kee mao but like the pad see ew a little more! Coconut shrimp was crunchy and had good coconut flavour. I really enjoyed their roti- it was amazing with the condensed milk and so crispy!
The service is AMAZING. The chef and her husband are from Bangkok, Thailand and are the sweetest people. It was two of my friends’ birthdays and they brought out a birthday card for each of them!
The restaurant is extremely clean and the tables have the forks and spoons set like a traditional Thai restaurant. The bathrooms...
